Just a little recommendation. You've tried so many cheap fast food burgers🍔 from so many different fast food chains (McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, etc). But have you tried fast food submarine sandwiches🥪 from Subway, Firehouse Subs, & Jersey Mike's Subs? If you haven't, you really should try to review them too particularly their newer menus, especially from Jersey Mike's Subs, I heard they're really good although quite expensive & pricey too, but perhaps higher prices might equal higher quality & better taste too, who knows? Having eaten at Burger King about once a month at most, for the past 20 years, I have never had a single hamburger from them that was warm enough to melt the cheese. Every single burger from BK I've ever had has been room temperature at best. This isn't a restaurant-specific thing, I've eaten BK burgers at airports from LA to Boston, from Houston to Chicago, and not a single burger was ever warm enough to melt the cheese. BK sucks, they sell cold burgers 100% of the time.
The fact that you eat there once a month is the main reason they have no incentive to improve. 20 years of shitty burgers and you still keep giving them your money? That’s not their fault.
@@UberFoXused to work for BK, the grill lines are real, but the grills don’t ever get cleaned properly so you probably just ate a carbon residue burger
I just went to order from Wendys on their website and there was a warning that there was flooding where lettuce is grown so there was a shortage of lettuce.
went yesterday. No lettuce available. Got a Triple cheeseburger everything & xxonions. Nice, tasty burgers. Our opinions of what extra onions are varies quite a bit .They were not generous. They Forgot the pickles & I missed the lettuce. Fries were quite over cooked. Gave up on them. When I worked for Wendy's back in the late 70's I wouldn't have been allowed to serve the fries they gave me. "Quality is our recipe" was their catch phrase back then. "Is" has been replaced with "was".
As a burger king employee I can say when something is suppose to have a different type of cheese on it we will put it on unless we run out and they usually do run out fast and we just put on the normal cheddar cheese since it shouldn't "Change the flavor"
I enjoy how you're able to eloquently (and elegantly) ponder the finer points of the most basic of American cuisine.🍔 ...and that is absolutely the incorrect cheese for that specific melt
I had one of these last night, and was disappointed, too. Hated it. Wish I'd seen your review first! And btw, the cheese on mine was white, not orange...
@BraydenBunch58 Yes, that's what I was pointing out there. He mentioned the color, but didn't seem to be exactly sure. I think him having the wrong cheese messed a bit with how it tasted, but having the *correct* cheese on mine didn't help.
Idk that makes less sense IMO. Philly the city is just big on peppers and onions in general because of all the Italian Americans, usually sausage more than cheese steak but also cheese steak. If you call it fajita you’re at least gonna need to add all the seasoning and whatnot it’s just not very Mexican seeming
You’re absolutely right, Reviewbrah. It looks good, but I thought that the Philly Melt was underwhelming. It would have been better with cheese whiz and only onions. The other two melts are ok - just ok.
Dude, I have to give you props! ALWAYS looking sharp AF! I'm very aware of your teeth problems and, brother, my heart goes out to you. Fast food restaurants in general need to take a step back, look at what they are doing, listen to the feedback from people, and do a turnaround. They keep releasing new stuff that is just, odd, out of place, and it makes everything else subpar. A bloated menu means the quality is going to start lacking in areas. Domino's used to be terrible pizza 15 years ago. They listened to people's comments of the "crust tasting like cardboard" and "the pizza sauce is like ketchup" and they did a turnaround. Now they are the no. 1 pizza chain in the world, doing better than Pizza Hut, Papa John''s, Little Caesar's, etc. (I THOUGHT NO ONE WAS SUPPOSE TO OUTPIZZA THE HUT???) I am not surprised at Burger King's fall from grace. I know there have been several hundred restaurant closings in the past year.
Where did people get this idea that a cheesesteak is supposed to have jack, swiss, american, or anything else except cheez wiz (or an appropriate similar cheese sauce)?
.....because some of the better classic cheese steak places in Phili favor white American or Provelone. Pat's and Geno's are for when you are drunk at 2:30 AM and nothing else is open.
Burger kings will definitely use regular cheese on sandwiches when they run out of the specialty cheeses. Not surprised. I was a manager at burger King from 18-21.
I don't think anyone from Philly would ever think that Burger King could even come close to making a good cheesesteak especially when they call it a Philly Melt and it contains burger patties and not steak. Not sure why they call it a Philly Melt but thinking it is just because they add peppers and onions. They don't even use American cheese or Cheddar they are using Swiss Cheese. Although the cheese on your melt did look more on the American side. So many things wrong with this one. I haven't and pretty sure won't taste one, so glad to get this review from the Man with The Report of the Week. It didn't even look flavorful. Thanks Brah! As one that grew up in Philly this Philly Melt is an insult.
I can’t blame him for going to his local BK myself, since it might be quite a drive to get to a better one. A lot of his complaints regarding BK though, seem to mainly stem from his local BK just having terrible service.
Are you doing well, @The ReportOfTheWeek? I am enjoying your youtube videos, Podcasts and VORW radio shows. Your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
From Philly and why are we always associated with provolone and peppers and onions. We don’t put provolone and peppers and onions on our cheesesteaks. We do put peppers and onions on our hot sausage and that gotta be Maglio’s
"Running On Empty" Now that Jackson Browne song is playing in my head. 😅 I just tried the Philly Melt at BK today, and I had the Bacon Melt too. They were satisfactory. Nothing to write home about, but at $4 apiece, meet expectations.
What I never understood why does American fast food chains serve better food in their overseas restaurants especially in Asia than they do in the USA very strange
I got the Philly and the bacon melt yesterday, they weren’t bad. I thought I’d like the Philly better but the bacon one slapped harder, it had a chunky style thousand island on it that was pretty decent. 7.2/10
I want to start a food truck, just to serve food with proportional sizing and flavor to price ratio. But then, where would I buy good food? It just ends with me cooking for myself.
that must be rage bait i mean “royal sauce” on a food item named after a city notable for not having royalty like they had an option there to do something special and just didn’t
As a non american. Having melts on a fast food menu is really interesting. This item in particular sounds really nice in concept. Sounds like you'd be better off making this at home which will definitely be better than anything at burger king.

@UberFoX man I thought I was the only brit who watches these lol
@@UberFoXused to work for BK, the grill lines are real, but the grills don’t ever get cleaned properly so you probably just ate a carbon residue burger
Why are you still buying it
It's been storming the past few days where I live, but your face is all the sunshine I need 🥂
His face hasn’t seen sunshine in 15 years.
@@PDXTundra Yeah tbh I went to a funeral last week and his hands look exactly like the ones I saw in that casket, but he's still a ray of sunshine
His disappointment is measurable, and his day is unaffected.
I just went to order from Wendys on their website and there was a warning that there was flooding where lettuce is grown so there was a shortage of lettuce.
Same!
really? guess that means the price of lettuce will double
went yesterday.
Happened in Australia for a little while. Lettuce prices went through the roof after floods so KFC used cabbage.
Mine still has lettuce. I saw it too
The price is ridiculous
As a burger king employee I can say when something is suppose to have a different type of cheese on it we will put it on unless we run out and they usually do run out fast and we just put on the normal cheddar cheese since it shouldn't "Change the flavor"
That sandwich looks like a stomach ache ready to happen.
….and 🚽 💩💥
if it was free id let my dog have it if he wanted it 😂
I enjoy how you're able to eloquently (and elegantly) ponder the finer points of the most basic of American cuisine.🍔
...and that is absolutely the incorrect cheese for that specific melt
Your videos are a breath of fresh air, always enjoy watching
Not sure that bun has ever received a hug in it's entire life. F
I had one of these last night, and was disappointed, too. Hated it. Wish I'd seen your review first!
And btw, the cheese on mine was white, not orange...
They gave him the wrong cheese…..
@BraydenBunch58 Yes, that's what I was pointing out there. He mentioned the color, but didn't seem to be exactly sure. I think him having the wrong cheese messed a bit with how it tasted, but having the *correct* cheese on mine didn't help.
@@nope4no1 Was it still bland?
@BraydenBunch58 As I mentioned earlier, yes it was. Was very disappointing. Don't waste your money! (IMO)
You introduced the product and I knew you have to be pulling our legs! LOL
I really like the more casual, jacket-less look!....also the colour co-ordinating with the artwork hasn't gone unnoticed 👌👌👌
No one in Philly will try this. I sure won't. 😂
It could have been a fiesta melt, a fajita melt, we have a lot of room to work with here just in case we need to change our approach.🤩
I mean the cheese wasn't melted lets start there
Fast food thinking they can charge sit down restaurant prices for their slop.
I'm 53yo and have stage 6 periodontal disease. 1/3 of my teeth are gone and the rest are breaking apart almost daily. Always have to be careful when eating. Constantly in pain. I truly hope you can get your issues fixed and keep on doing YOU bro. ReviewBruh forever!
Food bruh should open his own fast food place!
they serve water in wine glass only the finest cold frys
Yes... ads have white cheese...
They either made it wrong or ran out of the correct cheese...
Oh BK... you rascal 🙄😆
"The meat was gray; the cheese was yellow, and his expectations came tumbling down."
I just spent like 15 mins trying to come up with the next verse, but I got nothing. Anyway, go stagger Lee! [I guess]

I would say Wendy's and Chick fil-a are still doing ok. The little Wendy's bacon cheeseburger is decent.
Their pecan apple salad is v e ry good!
(I THOUGHT NO ONE WAS SUPPOSE TO OUTPIZZA THE HUT???)
I am not surprised at Burger King's fall from grace. I know there have been several hundred restaurant closings in the past year.
Where did people get this idea that a cheesesteak is supposed to have jack, swiss, american, or anything else except cheez wiz (or an appropriate similar cheese sauce)?
I mean technicallyyyy cheez wiz is American cheese.
.....because some of the better classic cheese steak places in Phili favor white American or Provelone. Pat's and Geno's are for when you are drunk at 2:30 AM and nothing else is open.
Burger kings will definitely use regular cheese on sandwiches when they run out of the specialty cheeses. Not surprised. I was a manager at burger King from 18-21.
Those cross-sections really butter my biscuits ….
Perfect timing, I ate this on Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't bad.
Is what I’m saying. Idk what restaurant Reviewbrah goes to but they always screw him.
I can’t blame him for going to his local BK myself, since it might be quite a drive to get to a better one.
A lot of his complaints regarding BK though, seem to mainly stem from his local BK just having terrible service.
I had the Philly wrap and it was surprisingly tasty
Are you doing well, @The ReportOfTheWeek? I am enjoying your youtube videos, Podcasts and VORW radio shows. Your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I am nourished by Review Brah's sarcasm.
From Philly and why are we always associated with provolone and peppers and onions. We don’t put provolone and peppers and onions on our cheesesteaks. We do put peppers and onions on our hot sausage and that gotta be Maglio’s
Liked before I watched as always. Unlike a visit to Burger King, I know I will not be disappointed.
"Running On Empty" Now that Jackson Browne song is playing in my head. 😅 I just tried the Philly Melt at BK today, and I had the Bacon Melt too. They were satisfactory. Nothing to write home about, but at $4 apiece, meet expectations.
They never toast the bread at my BK it sucks.
ive never seen toast burger at a resturant called a Philly I
U CAN ASK THEM TO HAVE IT YOUR WAY,!!!!!
That look after taking the second bite speaks volumes!
2:35 - 2:45
Lmao. The giggle killed em
Food doesn’t “slap”
@@BMikeybwon you just haven’t had the right food
I want to start a food truck, just to serve food with proportional sizing and flavor to price ratio. But then, where would I buy good food? It just ends with me cooking for myself.
So $28 burgers?
More and more, fast food is so bad that I'd much rather just cook the food myself. At least I know I'll get the proper cheese lol
Who would have thought. Fast food is mediocre! What a fucking shock.
Bro, your videos are gold.
i find soo much information really interesting
Love how I could just tell it was a BK item even before I clicked the video 😅
As Always, *kisses finger tips* Your attire and background, Perfect !
yeah, i took one look at that in his hands and i was like... the arbys wraps he reviewed a few days ago is 10x better
that must be rage bait
i mean “royal sauce” on a food item named after a city notable for not having royalty like they had an option there to do something special and just didn’t
Since when is Philly well known for not having royals? No city in the US has royals
@@monhi64 well the americans signed a big piece of paper in philly that said in no uncertain terms that royalty is cringe (i’m paraphrasing)
As a non american. Having melts on a fast food menu is really interesting. This item in particular sounds really nice in concept. Sounds like you'd be better off making this at home which will definitely be better than anything at burger king.
Open a funnel cake fast food place
he should name fries "TATORS"
that is indeed looking like the wrong cheese. smh quality control the bane of fast food restaurants everywhere.
6:13 look how dracula is focuses on one raised eyebrow as he concentrates
Not seeing it.
The title alone told me this was going to be Burger King
Burger King just stays getting cooked by Reviewbrah
To the flower center to the left of ReviewBrah’s head:
Thank you for tricking me into thinking that there was something on my phone
Reviewbrah with a Philly style review, what’s better than this. If only it wasn’t BK and I knew of the impending disappointment he’d feel
I knew it would suck when I heard "2 Burger King patties"
