2023 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit: Student PITCHES Winner Shomik Verma

At the 2023 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit, ARPA-E Deputy Director for Operations Shane Kosinski introduces the winner of the 2023 Student Proposing Ideas for Technologies that Can Harness Energy Sustainably (PITCHES) competition, Shomik Verma, a Mechanical Engineering student from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Shomik’s winning pitch was on the topic of “Clean, Dispatchable Power with Hydrogen Combustion and Thermophotovoltaics.”
