In the bright sunlight and cooking food for the hoards, I did not notice the swirling flame a the edge of the barbecue and I was too busy to keep brushing the sparks and embers off the heavy denim. The following day, to get rid of all the grease and food stains, I put them in a boil wash and when they came out, they looked just like yours. I had tried distressing jeans in the past, but an afternoon at the barbecue did a much better job. The only problem is, that if I wear them again, the frays may catch alight. Perhaps I will distress my sisters shorts for her instead, or I could borrow my boyfriends cut off leather bike jeans. LOL, (Jane)
I like how the slits you made give the look of the shorts having the inward angle with out them being super short. Great alternative for girls with booty who don't want cheeks hanging out :)

Duck Frenzy go to a thrift store. I buy levi' s from my local thrift store for 1.98 or 2.98 and distress them. I never buy brand new expensive jeans if they don't turn out how I like. Not much of a lost

Didn’t have tweezer so I used my finger nails clippers worked like a charm . I did on my skirt tho 😊
