I've watched I'm going to stay at least 5 videos on how to distress jeans and I have not been able to get it until I watch your you explain everything so perfectly and you even explain how the thread is sewn on with the blue and white no other video explains that part and that made it a lot easier to understand and it's really good help me out this video thank you I'm glad I was finally able to come across the video from somebody who actually knows what they're talking about
Im so happy I found your channel. This is the best way how we distressed our jeans and shorts in the 70s. I had kinda forgotten the technique of pulling the blue threads. You are great at describing the details, and this is much better than just cuts and fraying the threads.
I am a re-seller on youtube and I sell a lot of jeans. This is a fantastic thing to know! I just distressed a pair of Miss Me Jeans that had some tiny stains on the left knee. Put a distress hole there and added a couple more to the right leg and they turned out GREAT! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS! YOU ROCK! I subscribed by the way!
Daughter loves ripped/distressed jeans but they seem to have fallen out of fashion a bit this season so got skinny jeans and going to do this to them. Thank a great video 👍
Great video! Thanks so much… I bought some jeans from thrift store to cut off and do this to. I’m 6 foot tall and most store-bought shorts are way too short for me, so now I can do some DIY and make slightly longer shorts 😁
I made a pouch out of my old jeans, but it was plain,so I done it on my denim pouch,And it worked. I done the first method.Thank you for this awesome trick.
❤Thank you Kristin!!!! I watched this video and worked on my jeans... pausing and catching up and OMG😁 They look FANTASTIC and haven't even been washed yet👖✂👍🏻❤ I've watched about 50 videos just on distressing jeans!? I had no choice but 🗑🧹 throw them away lol. Thank you.
@@Annie261. …… Oh my goodness, thank you SO MUCH for explaining that to me... I’m sure that if you hadn’t clarified that, no one would have ANY idea what I’m talking about.
Hi Kristen, and thank you for demystifying that process and making it so easy! I got some jeans that are a little faded but not nearly enough and they are very very stretchy, and not thin fabric either, they are the alloy sienna high waisted jeans. Do you have any suggestions or is there anything different about distressing jeans that have 2% Spandex in the fabric? Thanks!
I see everyone pulls the verticle blue thread before washing why not wash then pull the remaining thread? I have some Jean jackets I'm doing just wondering. Thanks
Thank you first time I ever seen this done. I've got a question how do I fix jeans that was distressed in the knees already and came loose. This is my first time ever watching your video thank you.

I got 3 pairs of jeans for my granddaughter at a yard sale for 25 cents apiece...she's 14, and loves the distressed look. Trying this!! Thank you😁

Exactly it’s so annoying because I can’t find any good jeans with rips just those without so this really helped
By far! Haha
@@Colt-eq1vm : Try "Cult of Individuality" or Hollister.
Great! I got two stains on my jeans and i don't want to throw the jeans away, so i will try this. :-) greetings from Germany
Just wash them ?
Me as well
Take a look at Ricey Estela, she did great...

Hmmm I didn’t think of that. That’s a good idea to try!
I never bother, because the thread will eventually come out after a couple of washes.

could this method be used on t-shirts? do most cotton shirts have overlapping weaves of fabric you can expose to get the horizontal distress pattern?
Awesome video tutorial!!!!

With those ripped jeans would your filter of your washing machine not get stuffed with fibers?
