so i wanted to use a band from texas for this one and i was gonna go with panthera but every time i did i thought about broly so i was like maybe deftones again but then i thought nah change was in cooler and in 2 weeks passed and i was like oh yeah killswitch engage and they got the engery for it so enjoy

Ik these were added to the movies to appeal to american audiences. But grungy metal really does suit this series, especially Z, quite well and I was a bit disappointed when I realized this wasn't the original scores. Dragon Ball Super could also do with some orchestral numetal and/or artcore mixed with metal, like slightly grungier Yuki Kajiura scores to better suit its sort of "path to mastery" vibe.

The western releases had some cool music but to me the original japanese score will always be the sound of dragon ball

@@anarchyintheusa4443 i didnt hear the japanese scores untill much later inlife so the american funimation dub is a more comfrutable to hear tho i do apprecaite those moment of silince the orginial got with the wide shots of open feilds but when it came to like actaul action in the series i feel this about alot of anime tho some japnese composeres dont know how to fit music with mood alot of the time good tracks n scores bad timing and i usally can call that kinda thing by the animes intro music
