The pandemic and the loss of an audience wiped Stephen's memory of March of 2020. Sorry Hannah.
That girl is the mood we should all face uncertainity with. And the last segment still has me BURNING😂😂😂😂

3:40 This video is the greatest thing on the internet. For the way she handles the bird to the way her friend can't comprehend her words because she's still terrified. Fantastic!
The seagull : "Honey your not gonna believe this, a 13 year old just catapulted herself to me on my way back home ! "
"Sure, Claude. Next you're going to tell me the universe is a donut."
"Oh so now 13 year Olds are just CATAPULTING into you, Seagull-version-of-Matt-Gaetz!?!?"

The fact that the bird also seems to be ok is honestly funnier than what just happened
I am so glad you posted this. Going to have to skip this one. That video is terrifying to me.
@@SnepBlepVR and the other girl seems to be the most distressed of all 3 of them.

Thank you. People be forgetting the universe
the logic follows.
I was gonna say sprinkled, but yours is better. :)
That's so adorable
I love how the bird just gave up and nestled in, accepting its new reality. Haha
Not sure it survived. Looked like it could've been killed/badly maimed by the impact
Hopefully it was just the G Forces holding it in place
People always told me donut spout conspiracy theories, but I always suspected. I bet we've barely glazed the surface of this.
Ah hah
Imma 'bout to poke some holes in your theory.
I agree, I don't think we've seen the Whole picture, we Knead more information.
Donut hole back on the jokes, they're adoughable.

Homer Simpson theorized the universe was donut-shaped. Stephen Hawking said he might steal the idea.
No joke that was the the episode where Lisa joins Mensa from season 10 wasn't it?

Here’s the joke; Homer was right.
You need to have Richard Ayoade on your show. That would be glorious.

The universe donut is the only donut with every flavour in it.
I hate that this makes sense
The universe donut is also the only donut with the universe in it
Donuts not ice cream…
actually since the Universe is all just protons neutrons and electrons, and most of them are all spread thin enough to create what we perceive as infinite space... there is exactly Zero flavor in any given bite of the Cosmic Donut. Stay Human and John batiste are the best in late night!
I must confess that before the pandemic, I didn't know what to think about John. I live in Finland so I don't really know him, other then watching these youtube clips and I wasn't sure if he was, for a better word, real. Then the pandemic came and the show changed and I felt like we get to know him better and he is very much real. A beautiful human being, with so much beautiful music in thim that it feels unreal.
The world needs more people like him!
@@IdaSantti Yes he So great with The band he great leader
@@IdaSantti Oooh, hello there, my fellow nordic name-twin! Is Ida a very popular girl name up there in Finland? It's been one of the most popular names here in Norway, many times being the very most popular name for girls. I'm guessing it's probably one of the most common/popular girl names throughout all of the nordic countries in general, tbh. I at times think it's very boring but hey, boring is far better than a whole lotta other stuff it could be.. it's just short, sweet, simple and timeless. A good bonus is that it also works well internationally! Plus, Starbucks have always spelled it right for me at least, so there's that 😂😂🤓
~ Lol sorry, nvm me, I didn't intend to end up ranting about our name.. oops 🤓🤭🤭
AAAANYWAY, but yeah, I agree. Not that I ever disliked Jon or anything at all, I just wasn't used to anyone being so incredibly positive and highly energetic ALL THE TIME. I guess I'm just way too used to the typical Norwegian stereotype of people generally being more private, low key and reserved. I'm not used to constantly blissfull people - not that we're negative people or anything like that, but yeah.. oh well, I guess some people are just naturally way more energized or something. Might literally be due to the weather/climate differences we have, that's my best guess.
@@idalarsen2540 I guess us northerners are very similar in many ways 😂
It's actually kinda funny that when I was a child I didn't know anyone with the same name! And I still don't know many, but enough to realise that I am not that unique 😂
His name is Jon Batiste
5:30 That's a wonderful rendition of Macarena!
Einstein sad he thought it was corridor that will eventually meet its self , like a giant doughnut ! More then 80 years ago! Not new!
I think what's new, similar to the semi-recent detections of gravitational waves and the photo they took of a black hole, is that what once was something Einstein showed on paper is being confirmed with real-world evidence.
Confirming the conjecture of a man that, at the time, seemed to be considered wild and controversial speculation, is pretty big news.
@@denimchicken6549 Hear hear. Half (actually a great deal more than half) the battle is knowing where to look.
People need to learn the difference between a hypothesis, a theory and evidence/proof. "Einstein said something", even if true, is not a theory. Someone looking into it to find some supporting arguments is not "evidence" that "proves" a theory.
Did I say something wrong, @@Airblader?
@@denimchicken6549 That depends. All I can find in recent news is a paper (out of many others) exploring this idea, which in the peer community is far from being accepted. Unless I'm missing some rather big news - yeah, I'd say what you said was wrong.

The Meanwhile/Quarantinewhile writing has always been astounding and genius, then WOW, tonight the synchrony between that and Jon and Stay Human: ballet/waltz intro (Chopin?)... Stephen then speaks of his delicately choreographed pas de deux/epoch defining ballet which = his monologue.... then the velour jumpsuit+macarena of news = meanwhile... then we get a macarena musical outro... Love that band intro and Jon's sheer enthusiasm. This show makes my day.

"new physics theory". the three-torus model of the universe was proposed in 1984.
The Torus has been flying into my consciousness for four years. Don’t know what it means, but I know it’s important!
Plenty of 'button mashing' already going on over Bridgerton, anyway.

That bit about Polish swimmers is a bit old - few days, in fact. It's the fault of the Polish Swimming Association, and the swimmers who were rejected due to PSA's fuckup are planning to sue. I have to say man, that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a work of art… Basically a television work of art, like your intro to the meanwhile. Technically I think the headline should be: “Teen hit bird in the face”!! 😂 That seagull was minding his own biz when that ride shot up at a billion miles an hour from a stopped position (nothing like that in nature)
it's funny they mention video games and the universe donut since the old arcade game like asteroids where leaving the left and appearing on the right, or going up past the top reappears near the bottom was modeling a torus. a bizarre world we got used to (with enough quarters) might be a natural thing :-D
