i am christian and believe in jesus. i have the most wonderfull pegan friends. 74 to be exact. i camp with them every summer solstice. this chant is what i hear everytime and no matter what you believe it means something and brings your spirit to a better place...as im told everytime i leave...merry we meet and merry we meet again.
I chant all the time...have naturally even before I knew why one would do it. I also assume the universe and stars have something to do with coincidences.. I'm not a witch- I'm Christian. Meaning, I love God above all else. However, I believe in the power of the spirit to like you say, raise energy.

Its called a chant. Used in paganism to raise energy to conduct rituals........
