    I been using this hack lately as I don’t have coffee machine or make latte and also this hack my instant coffee taste good, it doesn’t matter what Instant coffee brand you use as I’m using coles brand. Sometimes I make the mistake adding little bit too much as it melts everything Turing dark brown and I don’t get perfect instant coffee, but mostly it turns into light brown paste, then half cup water and half cup of milk and perfect cup of coffee. Great Hack

    You just need a good quality instant coffee. I just picked up Nescafe (Hazelnut), and it tastes just like brewed coffee. No bitter burnt flavour that is usually associated with instant coffee :)

    • @henshooten
      @henshooten  4 года назад

      lac92576 where I respect your comment I must disagree , see flavoured coffee uses differing (usually artificial) chemicals to get the flavour your looking for , the distinctive difference here is the flavour is very different in a “standard” instant coffee so using an artificially flavoured instant is irrelevant , may I suggest trying the method I’ve shown and see the difference it makes to your brew

    I’ve started adding roughly 1 teaspoons of each ghee & coconut oil to my 20 oz instant coffee then add about 1 tablespoon of heavy whipping cream - all that goes into the blender. Then I throw a cinnamon stick into the empty coffee cup and pour the coffee over it. Not only is it delicious but the ‘good fats’ curb hunger too. No sugar for me.

    • @carpenterfamily6198
      @carpenterfamily6198 5 лет назад

      I’ve also started adding 1/8th teaspoon of each powder : cacao, ginger & cloves - I’ve come the love the unique taste. But the thing that is most amazing is it GREATLY improves my mood. I’ve been drinking coffee my whole life, which is a mood enhancer in and of itself. But those extra 3 ingredients really help brighten my mood. I would love to know if it has the same effect on anyone else. 😊

    Does instant coffee have the same caffeine amount as regular brew?

    • @henshooten
      @henshooten  9 лет назад +3

      To be honest I'm not entirely sure but I can tell you the amount of caffeine in a cup depends on the length the bean is soaked.
      The longer a bean is soaked the more caffeine is released , being the process to make instant is a fairly fast process im of the opinion it would probably be a varied quantity as in both a fresh bean and instant the absorption rate can differ vastly
      To summarise it depends on how long a fresh brewed coffee is left to infuse in the water where as an instant is exactly that an instant , the process to make the instant doesn't effect the caffeine levels already present

      more , the cheaper " robusta " coffee beans are used in instant coffee , cola , chocolate etc & they contain more caffeine than the more expensive " arabica " beans that are used in brewed / espresso / ground coffee .

    • @henshooten
      @henshooten  7 лет назад +1

      It really depends on your taste mate , if you like it dark and strong then use less milk , if you like it extra creamy then more milk , for a standard coffee I believe it's about a 80% water to 20% milk and if you want it extra hot warm your milk in the microwave for 1 minute

    That was literally twice as much sugar as coffee. Coffee should be black and very strong. Milk is for babies, sugar is for children.

    • @henshooten
      @henshooten  7 лет назад +13

      InformationIsTheEdge did you know that black coffee is actually toxic to the human body and milk was actually added to neutralise the toxins , an occasional short black is ok but always drinking black has been proven to have negative effects on the liver and kidneys , sugar on the same note is as addictive if not more as the drug cocaine and has been proven to have a negative impact on our body's , milk was also never meant to be consumed by adults and our body's have difficulty processing it also we are the only species on the planet that consumes vast quantities into adulthood , combine all these scientific facts together and in reality we shouldn't drink coffee in any form whatsoever alas one does find a good brew satisfying in the morning so I suppose it's purely up to personal choice how we all enjoy our brew , thanks for your feedback mate 😃

      Thanks for taking the time and effort to craft such a thought out reply. I appreciate it. I can't cite my source on the matter, perhaps a documentary about coffee, but the idea was that coffee plants were using caffeine as a self defense chemical to protect it's seeds from parasites or fungus. Poison to them but invigorating to us! Or, as you note, perhaps bad for us as well. Originally I was going for funny. A little jab about putting stuff into coffee. Now I have a new topic to research. Thanks again for the reply!
