Aki is such a good dude, despite all the horror he's been through not to mention finding out he's going to die horribly he still has it in him to be nice to a devil mid battle.

I mean, dude knows he's going to die a horrible death, so the angel shortening his life probably isn't as big a deal for him. If anything, the angel devil would be a more merciful end.
@@AraWagoner I know but i was pointing out the fact Aki is being kind to a devil when he has no obligation to do so despite all the stuff that's going on with his life. Characters tend to lash out at others when they're sad or greiving and in Aki's case considering his animosity towards devil's you'd think he would at angel but he's still a gentlemen despite everything, that's what i'm getting at. It's a small interaction but it tells us alot about his character.
I know right, so calm when being pointed a gun at, usually that traumatizes people

@@Itsamemario662 They're not pure devils, Aki still clearly sees those two as separate entities from them (which they are, fiends and Denji are wholly different). His constant berating of Denji for being soft towards devils wouldn't make any sense if Aki saw him as one. He also clearly doesn't dehumanize Power the way he does Angel in the beginning of their relationship (Aki doesn't even call Angel a name and is fine with reporting him to the top brass so he can get killed). It's Angel who changes his views on devils.
Like it was said humanoid looking devils like Angel and Spider tend to be more friendly in general to people

I like his soft voice as it makes him look like someone that isn't very energetic and Battle driven,unlike denji and power two of the most energetic characters in the show

Angel, who despises humans and sees them as worthless creatures who deserve to die, often protects Aki from gunfire and willingly hangs around him as company
Aki, who absolutely hates devils/fiends and offers zero mercy as a devil-hunter, later protects Angel from a certain Quanxi and even took months out of his lifespan to save his life
I think he was lying to Aki about wanting people to die.
He just doesn't want to use his ability and he made this lie for Aki to not ask him anymore.
It's make sense bc he was concern about that one time Aki touch him MONTHS after accident.
We also don't see him killing any human (willingly). He only take blood for already dying women but his sorry for this.
Actually, he took like a big Chuck of life span when you consider how much he left
