Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall stroll through Ballater in Scotland on 31st August 2021

- Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay as they are known in Scotland, visit Ballater in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire Scotland. They attended the new Heritage and Community centre in the Victoria Halls in Ballater, opposite the restored Railway Station, then enjoyed a stroll through the town, meeting local shop owners and members of the public.
Prince Charles, 72, was wearing a traditional kilt with tweed blazer, while Camilla was wearing a black, grey and red check tartan knee-length skirt, covered with a cream blouse and grey waistcoat. The Royal couple have their Scottish home at Birk Hall just outside Ballater and are very supportive of the local community. Ballater is close to Balmoral and the old railway station was the arrival point for Queen Victoria when she visited Balmoral.
What a pretty little Scottish town. people are happy for the visit of the Dukes of Cornwall & Rhodesay. From my point of view, the ideal visit without crowds.
The Tartan skirt fit them very well.

In scotland they are the Duke and duhcess of Rothesay. They are not wearing Tartan Skirts they are wearing Kilts!!!
@@jamiesuther3 Yes, but on this occasion the Duchess is wearing a tartan skirt, not a kilt, a different garment altogether which suits her well for this visit to Ballater.
Ballater is very close to balmoral
Camilla looking radiant in Balmoral tartan skirt and plaid, well chosen. Pleased to see Ballater looking neat and homely, perhaps the most welcoming town and hospitable of shopkeepers in all of Scotland, it was for me..
But the shoes are not a good choice. It seems that she's barefoot. Terrible.
@@soniaperez4526 You have a point, but the style was practical and the colour matched her handbag (almost). I think terrible is an exaggeration.
What do you think would have looked better? Black maybe, or grey?
@@maxwellfan55 there are countless styles and colours nowadays. And she choosed the ugliest. Yes, the ugliest, yes it's terrible. I'm not a stylist, but I know there's great variety.

Camilla looks different. Can’t put my finger on it.
Funny that they meet and talk to people separately..that Camilla doesn't stay close to Charles. Guess that's their way. Just makes her look as if she has as much power and influence as he...guess maybe she does now. I just found that a bit uncomfortable. I am also wondering if Prince Charles is having a hard time with his legs...cuz I care.
Camilla has gained more confidence and come into her own more, but she still remains supportive to Charles and him take the lead. They make a great team.
Maybe they want to get to more people to say hello🌹
