He won the battle against cancer but inevitably lost the war. The battle against cancer is not only physical but psychological and spiritual, he did not allow his situation to dictate his life, he was in control until it was no longer physically possible. Cancer did not win against his spirit or his mind only his body.

I've been to more funerals than weddings in my lifetime. Sad but true. ALL my grandparents and parents died before my 30th birthday. The main takeaway from all this loss and grief I've discovered is NEVER take life for granted. I've been to viewings of 98 year olds and 20 year olds. NONE of them were promised length of years. But some of them, like CHADWICK BOSEMAN, crammed so much life into so few years, he made us all look like amateurs. WAKANDA FOREVER. RIP.
So sorry to hear of the passing of a great man who’s brought joy to many through his life and work. Rest easy, Chadwick.

Oh so true. I have been getting colonoscopies every 7 years since my 50th birthday. It was the guidelines at that time. I'm now 65...and alive. As with any cancer it shows it can strike you at any age. He was just 43!!! Please be vigilant everyone. Don't take for granted that it can't happen to you. Stay safe. Peace

Honestly Chadwick Boseman is a really underrated actor! Like everyone talks about how amazing the storyline for Black Panther was (which it is don't get me wrong) but Chadwick barely gets any praise for his performance in the movie! He deserves more recognition!
