- this is a detailed video on how I deal with the auto reverse issue that occurs with cassette adapters. the gear I removed has worked on every tape deck I've owned, and worked with the delco etr I have in my oldsmobile as well. it's a simple fix and is well worth the result. thanks for watching
Worked for my 01 Grand Cherokee, Thank you!
Just tried this on my cassette adapter and it worked!! I ended up needing to take out two gears and then my 1995 Toyota Corolla read it okay!
This worked wonders on my '93 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. Thank you so very much!
Supercharged?😮
@@joshsmioutdoors5913 sure!
im audio was only playing on one side, i did this and now it´s working on both sides, thank you so much!
What did you do to yours? I had the same issue, and I tried the tips on mine and it made it not work at all.
Mind had the same issue, but it work well after a full charge
Omg, it worked. Thank you so much!!!!!
I have a 03 Honda CRV. I tried taking out all the gears and it still doesn't work. Went I triggered the lever to go down without a tape in the player. It clicks a few times then automatically spits it back out, juat likw ot was doing with the tape in. Any ideas on what it could be?
Your cassette adapter is like the others that I've found online already. You have anything about fixing Sony cassette adapters? Ive been using the Sony cassette adapter for years and then suddenly, it started doing that flipping action before getting spit out. When I finally opened it up (hard as hell), it looked completely different from yours and all the others that I've found on youtube; and the tricks that I've learned and applied don't work and I attribute the reason being that the insides are different inside.
Saved my 97 4Runner & my life!!!! Thanks!
2004 G35 Sedan, taking out all gears work for any brand cassettes
Thank you, I pray this works on my 04 coupe, my last good adapter just gave out 😢
1999 LS 400 only plays on one side but sounds great has a bunch of low pass filter options too, if I could find a way to make play both, it could save me $$$$
Has anyone reached out to you about this? I’m also trying to figure this out
@@charlesalmero331 no do you have ls?
You should make a video to fix those that only play on the right speaker, wiggling with finger doesn't work
I got one of these but it keeps clicking once it’s in
My audio is only playing on one side, how do I fix mine? I tried removing a couple gears and it didn’t work. (2004 Ford F-150)
Sometimes you have to stick your fingers in the deck while the adapter is in the machine, and move the back of the tape around a bit to get the player head to line up with the reader head. It can be tricky but once you get it once you'll get it every time
Didn't do anything for my cassette adapter
Tried everything and still doesn’t work
This doesnt seem to do anything for my dodge stratus
Gonna try a different cassette adapter thougg, cause it was a crappy one I got from a dollar store
Have you tried it without removing any gears? Sometimes the newer cars won't recognize a tape is in there if it doesn't have all the gears
@Riot's Garage what i had to do was have all the gears in, let the player thing it had fully rewound, then take it out and remove that one little gear and it works fine now.

Still didn’t work
This worked for like a day and stopped
