Also, Gemma at The Pampered Wolf gave her Mum the OneSkin body lotion to use over 3 months and the change on her underarm skin is quite incredible. They took before photos of her arms in the same 'pose' and the improvement in the texture/skin quality is, honestly, astounding!!!
Really love your channel. Listened to the eating disorders one the other day and it really IS an honest channel that so many of us can relate to! Thank you!!
Thank you for this interview! After seeing the RUclipsr Gemma’s mom and her results I bought oneskin myself. I use it on my face but tried it on my very wrinkly knees. The results so far have been very positive. I’m wondering if the peptide works better on more aged skin because my face is not experiencing the same effects from One skin just yet. Crossing fingers.
Thanks for sharing your experience here! It's an interesting point you raise about more aged skin showing better results and I guess it makes sense that the results would be more visible on those areas.
Sure, I use a foam pillow from Sleep & Glow which is hollowed out at the sides. Review video here What's the case for anti-wrinkle pillows and sleeping on silk? ruclips.net/video/sJRUZGUCFg4/видео.html
Glad you enjoyed the interview! This is an excellent article which lists and explains the most commonly used tests. www.health.harvard.edu/blog/should-you-be-tested-for-inflammation-202203292715
Sorry, thought I replied to this last night but I see it hasn't shown up. The C-reactive protein test mentioned by another helpful viewer is definitely one of the more popular ones. This is a great article on the types of tests available www.health.harvard.edu/blog/should-you-be-tested-for-inflammation-202203292715
I found the Venus eye pen helped with a real problem I had with puffy eyes but changing my pillow worked wonders! Sleeping on a soft pillow was causing fluid build-up at night. I now use a simple facial roller daily (I very recently did a video about it), red light panel so I can cover multiple areas at once, the Nira laser and ZIIP Halo several times a week.
Dr.zo Obagi is seen as a Genius and at old age he has amazing skin himself, and he recomend no moistoring cream normally for skin turnover. He says with moister skin gets lazy, what you think about this? And what you think about in general useing retinol? Does this woman use it herself? What does she use?
This video sets out my own views on how best to keep skin hydrated ruclips.net/video/IF0LE7nusa8/видео.html I can't speak for Alessandra, but she and her co-founder do share their views on a range of skincare ingredients on their blog www.oneskin.co/blogs/reference-lab--1
There are quite a lot of anecdotal reports from users of more potent retinoids like tretinoin causing fat loss. It's very hard to say if that's the definite cause, but what I would say is that if someone overdoes it with retinoids or other skin treatments and causes significant or ongoing inflammation that will have negative knock-on effects as we heard in this interview.
Another brilliant deep-dive interview Clare, thank you. I started my OneSkin journey, coincidentally, about 5 weeks ago. I have the moisturiser and the body lotion and, whilst I forgot to take 'before' photos, there is already a visible difference in the texture of my neck and 'dec' and also my underarms .. not so much my face but I am also using other lotions and potions so that isn't really surprising!!! I was just wondering (hoping!!) if you could find out whether OneSkin would be beneficial to use directly on areas of psoriasis please? Thanks again for this. xx M
@ Here’s the reply from OneSkin x We do have customers with psoriasis that use OS-01 BODY but we have not run any clinical trials regarding this specifically. We recommend they patch test on a small area of their skin to ensure that they tolerate it well. If they feel it is working for them and no negative reactions are occurring, they can begin applying it to their entire body. Since everyone is different, we also recommend they consult a dermatologist if they have one! We are always here to support our customers; if they have any questions, they can reach us at support@oneskin.co

I was on a call with her the other day and heard about her mum. My 81-year-old mum is now using it on her arms to see if she can see a difference!
@@thehonestchannel that's brilliant. Hope she has similar results .. Gemma's mum's results were very impressive!
I have really been enjoying your interviews with different experts. Great content!
So pleased to hear this! I always try to find guests who will bring us a fresh perspective ❤️

Very informative! TY
Thank you for being here!
Hi Clare, do you know how can you measure the inflammation in the skin? Are there any lab tests? Interesting interview as usual:)

I think it is a c reactive protein test. It gives you information about inflammation in your overall body.

Have you found anything that works better?
Thank you:)

Some say retinol can cause unwanted fat loss in face is that true? Fat in right place is important for youthfull look Also

Has anyone even bothered to take a look at the actual study report? It basically says that the cream doesn’t work.
Which of their studies are you referring to? They've done several now and the results from all show measured improvements.
I've been reading the Glucose goddesses podcast also
I have her book. It's great.

Good to hear you're seeing a difference. I will ask if Alessandra can answer re using it on psoriasis x
@@thehonestchannel Thank you that would be a great help! Much appreciated. xx
