Every time I see the alert "Comicstorian uploaded:" I can’t help feel simultaneously excited then a little sad. I read the title in his voice, feel the hype for the content, and then have this bittersweet moment-thinking, "Man, this is exactly the kind of thing that would blow his mind!" I can already imagine him being so passionate, animated, and excited about it. And then the excitement comes back because, well, he’s right-this stuff is amazing! The Absolute universe is incredible. I don’t think I’ve been this thrilled about Superman since the Earth One series. (Speaking of which, is that universe officially done now? It’s been like, what, four years?)

He and the crew helped me through some of the DARKEST days of my life and also help rediscover my love and passion of comics. Of all the non-familial & celebrity deaths, this one hurts the most. I like that Kal-El encountered Lois Lane before he was able to save her life from the Lazarus Corps and that they were able to save the people of Brazil. I also like that we get to see Lois write about a report about Superman, including his debut and power set. I even like that we get to we get to see a flashback of him virtually attending class (where he used his own handwriting instead of generative text to submit a report) and another flashback of his parents testing something while he spends time with Krypto. Overall, this comic is great!
