The Yashica Mat 124g is one of my favourite cameras it’s does take a little getting used to but it’s a joy to use when I am out with it people always stop me and ask about it this then gives me a great opportunity for street portraits

I have a theory that the flipped image on these cameras helps engage the creative side of the brain.
Sometimes I accidentally scan an image flipped and I don't want to fix it because I like it more.. 🤷♂️🙃
My Nikon f flips the image like this as well when I use my waist level viewfinder. I love my yashicamat for this reason as well.
