Your videos are a great source of inspiration, we sincerely thank you!! What a lovely change from a chlorinated cement bowl to the manufactured wetlands, paradise! We are older DIYers and we are v e r y slowly making a swim pond here in the Central Texas hill country (we dug a hole!) We are at the point of deciding if a liner is better or concrete...or both. We would love an episode that goes over the details of the plumbing of the swim ponds with wetlands, including what pump sizes to use for different parts, how the filtration works from the swim area to up under the gravel and then through the plants, and where to put filters/skimmers, including the invisible edge as a skimmer that Patrick spoke about...so excited!!!
I have been following your trip to Australia on Greg's Channel as well and it is amazing! He certainly deserved the artist of the year for just these two features! I know y'all had a good time!
I grew up near the woodford focfest and i never knew that pond was there. The people who would go to the festival would always end up going to the local swiming hole at stoney creek.
Greg you know I love your ponds but last year when you went back to see people’s ponds, not one person had looked after or added vegetation to pop/jaw drop anyone setting eyes on the build. They were built but basically maintained if at all. This build is how I see any build after 12mths. Bloody awesome pond 🍺🍺
I want to know what they planted on that island? I'm a garden designer and the only thing that I could think to plant on such a feature island is a Moreton Bay Fig. But I know very little about making ponds so I don't know if it would go well with a lined pond. Either way, amazing video, amazing art on display here!
Huge question ' how do you keep the gaters out ? That thought is pretty scary ! I've known people who had gaters get into their pools and this thing is a gorgeous pond in Australia " its got to be tricky to keep them out and the pond be safe ! The work you guys do is beyond amazing , really enjoyed this video , your work"wow!
Hi, I was wondering if he's added salt to that system? The plants suggest no, but the fish suggest there is, or were they footage from elsewhere? Thanks
So, basically everything is BIGGER in Australia!;) Hey Jaak, Patrick could still learn something from you... he doesn't have your Urn & light treatments. He's got the beautiful natural looking pond set up but he still needs the Ferrari at the house. With that lake, do they get enough rainfall to keep that thing topped off? The evaporation must be immense!
I’m afraid this video has brought out the worst in me and turned me into a green eyed monster. You see before I watched this, I was perfectly content with my 2000 litre backyard pond, but now I realise it its not the labour of love I was so proud of, it is an embarrassing puddle. Because I want THAT pool to be MY pool, and as a certain Ms Salt once famously said, I don’t care how, I want it now!!! So thanks for turning this formally content pond person a deep alge green with envy 😉
What about all the crazy animals I hear that's in you country 🤔 all tht water must be attractive, bugs, snakes, n all the poisonous n venomous creatures 😳
everyone in this video talks too much & they barely showed the pond.... I'd rather see long video shots of the pond and that beautiful property. ANd I'm glad this guy kept on sun glasses for most of the video. His eyes looks like has horrible allergies, to everything. LMAO!
Australia has it going on! Patrick did a great job! I am glad you all are inspired by each other.
Oh wow, simply wow! One very inspirational designer.
my jaw dropped so long it's stuck... simply wow :)
Always fun watching
Thanks, Kathleen!
who wouldn't want a swim pond......... i mean seriously 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Fire..im on a mission to get my swiming pond crystal clear by next summer.

Would love to hear if yall decided on a liner or co concrete! Debating the same thing on this end.
I’ve always wanted a swim pond
Sweet build ... fire as usual 🔥
I enjoy these videos, but my favorites are still seeing your projects go from grass to the incredible ponds you and your team builds.
Absolutely incredible!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
AWESOME!! 😍
Those swim ponds are awesome. Keep up the good work.

Linda Leslie can’t wait to do it again!!!
So nice to see something pleasant. Can’t wait for summer. Nice job Jaak!
Epic. Pool. If only...
But calling Great Whites and man eating Crocodiles “Biteys” is everything I adore about understatements in Australian slang.
What if theres crocodile get in the pond they did nt notice
Awesome video Jaak!! Beautiful swim ponds braddah!🤙🏽🐠🤙🏽
Brilliant.
Awesome Ponds, Awesome Team, now waiting to see what Awesome Pond you come up with for Rachel's yard...👍🏆
Amazing and beautiful!

He does Amazing Work!
Wow… just amazing
that beach got a flogging!

That’s the coolest swim pond ever, the 1.4 acre one..if i was rich I would have one that size built..beautiful
Awesome Guys! ❤ this is exactly what l want to build on my land in Australia.
Just amazing, no wonder he won.
He’s so awesome and so is Australia!! 🇦🇺
Cant wait until the aquascape academy starts back up again thanks for being an inspiration for me to get into this business love your work
I have seen other versions on the other channels. Great presentation and editing! I love your job!
Wow , Amazing & Awesome. I wish I had a place to recreate Patrick's personal pond. It is so lush and natural looking
No one can make my dream come true...Australian CAC's said hold my beer! THAT IS JUST AMAZING!
Is it possible to turn an existing dam into these wonderful recreation ponds? Great job 👏 😮💕💡
Most areas don't allow tampering with natural, existing water sources.
That's definitely a large beautiful swim pond. Looks like it took a lot of work amazing.
Wow watching Patrick's pond with your presentation is amazing 😍 cinematic experience always. Keep them coming 🙌🏻
Patrick and his team are pretty impressive. Great job on the video!
I grew up near the woodford focfest and i never knew that pond was there. The people who would go to the festival would always end up going to the local swiming hole at stoney creek.
Looks awesome. What are the regulations regarding fencing a swim pond? In Australia anything over 300mm has to be fenced
Great video showing what passion, talent and creativity can create. Would love to visit these amazing ponds one day :)
This is a beautiful job. Will hit the designers websites. thansk.

I wish I was there!
I really want one in my back yard!! I have the spot. Now I need the expertise.
We want to build a pool like this in San Diego. It would be a public pond.
Sounds cool! Are you looking for someone to build it?
I believe natural swim ponds should be available to everyone!

You are one lucky guy. I dont know to many guys whose wives would let them go without taking them. Patrick's pond is totally awesome.

There's no real way to keep them out, without having a fenced in area.
Gorgeous!
But do you ever worry about snakes?
YES!!
Hi, I was wondering if he's added salt to that system? The plants suggest no, but the fish suggest there is, or were they footage from elsewhere? Thanks
No salt
@@AtlantisWaterGardens thanks very much, and for the inspiration on your channel. Cheers from Australia

Anthony Bowers it’s in a rainforest
Alright
That feeling when a group of people you admire come to your home state and most likely travelled through your home town, Brisbane.
Are there no legal requirements regarding fencing for swim ponds?
It depends on the area and your local statutes 💪
💪❤️👍
What kind of power do these ponds use? Can you hook it up to solar power.
This was about 25 amps. Your solar grid would need to provide that much reliable power
AND EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT
Indeed we are.
You've been to Australia... make the effort come to England
Been there many times 👍
What kind of fish are those at 8:40. Not the angelfish those spotted fish.
I believe they are Barramundi
I don't suppose that property is available for holiday rental?
So HOW do you keep snakes and alligators out of these beautiful ponds????????
Where you been homie....I miss your uploads ...
We’re back!💪
So Jaak, were you a video editor first, then became a CAC?
Learning on the fly
@@AtlantisWaterGardens Cool! Your editing is always on point.
Pool fence?
not generally, it's considered a pond
Can you build me one please. I'm in the uk
On my way! 😜

😜😜
The second pond needs more natural growth.
What about all the crazy animals I hear that's in you country 🤔 all tht water must be attractive, bugs, snakes, n all the poisonous n venomous creatures 😳
Oh hell no. Croc country 😬 🐊.
And they have saltwater crocs.
Chomp Chomp! Haha
@@AtlantisWaterGardens thank god I live in New York City lol. I just stick to my pool without predators.
And I bet you didn't fill this up with a garden hose
