- “Far Star is about my ability to travel with my imagination to far sonic galaxies, all from the insides of a room. The music, worked on during a pandemic, somehow leaves me with memories of great freedom and liberation through what was clearly a very constricting time in our lives (the pandemic).”

There are not enough Like Buttons. Crazy wonderful.!❤❤❤❤😮😮😮😮
As usual Gilad’s playing is absolutely beautiful. I’d love to see the space and peruse the album’s behind him as well.
Goodness Gilad - I am so happy to be on this journey with you at the helm. Gorgeous harmonies and soul lifting melodies. More please maestro!
Wonderful playing Gilad! I love this! Melody, chord voicings, tone, and Freeze pedal usage.
That started in one place and kept ramping up.

amazing
יפה, יפה
Thank you ❤️
what a nice sounding guitar and what an amazing musician you are ...🙌🙌🙌
It's all in his hands.
@@jimstahlhut1917 and maybe the 20 pedals he’s daisy chaining lmao
Man you need to listen closer to time, touch and phrasing
@@AndrewJanusson You can listen to John Scofield's "Quiet" album, in which he played nylon strings and still sounded like himself. Top level musicians do not need pedals to shape their sound.
I would love the hear the other takes if there were any.
Does anyone know what OD/Distortion pedal he is using during the solo?
It's an interesting sound, yes? Kind of a bit-crushy, ring-moddy plus subtle distortion/overdrive...
Pigtronix Octave Fuzz
What pedal is that at 4:19? Cool stuff.
Pigtronix octave fuzz I think
I like this piece a lot. But I don't understand why jazz players would deliberately set their amplification in such a way that every chord gets distorted. I would rather hear every note. It's sort of a jazz thing, but I don't like it.
Funny I can hear every note in every chord.
