Though I am a more defensive player generally, eg. I will watch the teams back and sit back a bit rather than rush especially as I'm still getting to learn the maps. The tip about ditching the ammo carrier and armor is just amazing. I tried it out this morning playing Skirmish and i was able to cap 10 times during the match. I wish more people would follow that tip, playing as attackers i still see most of the team goes with heavy armor and it really shows how much it can slow down a team. Some people will debate that its worth it to have the explosion protection, but those same people to this day still haven't been able to cap A.

The M16A2 is an underrated gun because you can just run it naked and then pick up a fully customized security weapon off the ground and keep all your mags. Also, you confuse the enemy because your weapon won't sound insurgent.
Yes! Keep lying to them about running through molotovs! The less people that know they can survive running through it (and probably surprising the one that threw it), the better!
I think you missed a couple of tips, but what has helped me with getting better is, 1. using the walk button to silence my sound and 2. aiming more down sight when getting towards the middle. I was finding my self getting caught more out of scope and started to learn how fast people get to the middle with light load outs. Walking has greatly helped me play more situational and could hear enemy people stomping around. I dont think any game does this feature that well like insurgency does when any information could be the death of you. Thanks for the video and I appreciate the tips.
I agree with everything you said except the armour. Armour only increases the amount of shots it takes to die at a distance. Heavy armour is useless in most situations. If you are playing a long range map use light armour. Otherwise use none. The speed bonus allows you to get to spots quicker and evade enemy players.
Armour is essentially useless right now as even pistols only require 3 shots to the body to kill you with heavy armour so using armour is just useless. The only thing that one shots you if you don't have armour is the sniper rifles of the marksman class other than that you wont get one shot unless you get headshot. So it is more effective to just be as fast as possible and either use light/no armour so you have less chance to get hit in the first place.

Exactly right mate, I often do that and find the first m4/mk18 and run with that.
