Im building the same machine, if you haven't found it yet, there is a switch in the software that allows you to reverse the axis movement without having to mess with the wiring.
Thanks for the tip! I had actually found it yesterday while I was in the shop testing the z axis. Now when I have the laptop on the bench the torch moves in the same orientation which is really nice.
I am preparing to build this table too. I have all my parts printed, raw steel, motors and electronics. What board is that, that you mounted all the electronics to? Thanks.
I wanted all of the electronics mounted in an enclosure that I could mount on the wall or somewhere out of the way. I went with a "TICONN Waterproof Electrical Junction Box IP67 ABS Plastic Enclosure with Hinged Cover with Mounting Plate, Wall Brackets, Cable Glands (Clear, 11.8"x11.8"x7.1")" that I got off of amazon.com It was fairly tight working in there, but not unreasonable.
@TheAnnihilatorRacing thanks for the info. Good job on the wiring! You have a knack for that obviously. I am an IT guy and I am notorious for crappy wiring : -)
@@MoreThanAHandyman Thanks, I really enjoy wiring so it was actually one of the easier/more fun parts for me. Happy to answer any questions about it, but the diagrams provided were solid.
