    Bizarre how it looks to be sped up *and* in slow motion somehow at the same time.

    Hello, i am an oceanographer and i work with deep abyss mud in order to recreate the environment conditions.
    and i have a little extra sediment here with me.
    For this i have a question for you
    how can i treat it to make a nice ball like the ones y your past videos, that work is beautiful.
    Having this abyssal mud in a perfect rounded ball with texture like those ones could be a perfect way to present to the world in the form of art.
    i always believe that art and science could make a great impact to nature communication
    Thank for your time, and for share

    Would love to see more videos from The Nito Project.
    By-the-way, how was this video made--will any thin layer of clay dry, crack, and curl like that?

  • @martind349
    @martind349 3 года назад

    It would be an interesting experiment to lay down a layer of clay over something that can be peeled off or which would shed evaporation nearly as quickly as the top surface and watch. Or, you could peel and do a back-to-back, or mebbe see what would happen if you spread over a solvent.

    Is there a way to fix a layer of clay when this happens? I’ve had some trouble with the polished layer cracking and slightly curling in spots where I left it just a hair too thick…
