Late to the party but thank you for this video. 2021 and been trying to get my Garberg razor sharp.

Nice video. Any updates on how the knife fares with the true Scandi grind? Wondering if the blade will become "edge-fragile"...

Hi, I wanted to know what is your vote for this 14C28N steel for bushcraft / survival knives? Thanks Michele

I thing this is a pretty good steel. A bit expensive but very nice knife. Holds up good.

Good video. Sound logic. You just need a 400/800 stone.
    👍🏻

Hello good, a question. When sharpening the Garberg you do it according to the scandi angle or you do it by the microbevel that comes from the factory. Thank you!!

you do it quite well. for the belly you should raise your handle a little bit and for the tip a little more. without changing knife angle. Just like you are doing the main straight part. It preserves your original belly shape and the tip.

Regardless of the sharpness, that's a terrible finish. Don't worry, you'll figure it out.
