@@anon95274 I think it adds a nice touch that they didn't feel the need to emphasize it, nor did they write if some of them were flashes. I think highlighting those would have shifted the focus from climbing for fun to performance and some sort of external motivations, when the mood is clearly that she has found time to do some fun climbing outdoors for a change and she's really enjoying it. 😊I think this video captures it really well as it is. But that's no news when it's Louder Than Eleven production 😘

I hope they cleaned the rocks at Fontainebleau after their visit. It’s great to see people discovering outdoor climbing, but with big commercial productions like Five Ten | Adidas, I really hope they’re also making the effort to respect the boulders. In any case, congrats to Janja for your performances on the rocks of Fontainebleau!

For an anonymous climber in fontainebleau for over 35 years and achieve 3 out of 5 (2000), big respect. You're incredible, and I don't think there's much of gap between you and the men. Tell me, isn't that real climbing is all about? As for as I 'my concerned, there is no comparison.

@@chaozzah Classic font boulders are very sandbagged in modern terms. Also the movement and holds are kinda different from the "modern" outdoor bouldering
Does 5.10 even make climbing shoes anymore? I read they stopped all production and once they are out they are out. If so I hope they sell the C4 formula to someone, that stuff rocks.
More Janja on real rock, please. Take a year off competitions and do some travelling around, there is still plenty of time to get in shape on plastic for the LA olympics! Go do Dura Dura, go to Flatanger, please we need this :-)
I’ve tried Tristesse, that right hand pinch is not good and youve got to do a huge move off of it. Also tried Fourmis Rouge, and that seems doable first go. Big Golden with her hip mobility makes sense. Atresie seems impossible
So now since she won the Olympics she's more valuable as an advertisement face. Adidas has now a good stand to compete with the 2 or 3 major players for climbing shoes. Let's see if it pays off in the future.
@@darshanraj6492 in the long run they probably can. this is more of a brand reinforcement strategy so you don't associate 5.10 so much with Adidas but as a valid climbing shoes brand. I think one have to fight hard to make a stand in this established market. I personally would go for an established brand for various reasons.
I bet it's quite recent. Would make sense some of the competitors visited Font after the olympics, as there's no pressure to do comp specific training right away. There's a guy from Japanese climbing team (Could be even Yoshiuki even though he didn't compete) spotting as she's climbing The Big Golden. If so this is even more impressive, since everything leading to the olympics and the competition itself must have drained her too, so she's not even well rested here.
