It's nice to see that we all try to break the beta no matter our level.
The best moment was when Adam smiled and directly thought about a heel hook instead of mentalling. I know I don't have to feel so bad anymore when I break the beta with a hook. Thanks to you guys for the great videos. It always makes my day.
So kind of him to include the route setters instead of claiming to set all of the route himself, I don't think route setters get enough attention, in fact I would love a whole episode dedicated to em!
I hate youtubers who don't include others and take all the credit. Props for showing the route setters!

@@thejude8494 Absolutely, not too many sports come to mind that got a lot of disputes going on. Also, climbing is a sport with barely any money in it. Few faces ever make it beyond the core scene. It's such a chill sport not least because it's still relatively small, very diverse, and elite climbing only rarely gets mainstream recognition.
@Hopesfallout I'm just not every Athlete does. I agree other sports do have them but more often than not it's friendly competition.
Athletes dont have beef, its competition and it stays on the field..... I played American Football, ask me how I know. Try not to be so soft my guy :) I have faith in you!

@randonamo6686 that's how the wide boyz said they grade their cellar in a recent video; o grade is an estimate of how many attempts Adam would take to complete
@@Chaoticbananait's not how many attempts, it's how many sessions. So if Adam needs 2 sessions to complete it, it's an O2

It's wonderful to see a relaxed GOAT. So many GOATS have to sacrifice friendliness and decency in their striving to be the best, but Adam conquered without becoming cold in any way

@@Blobbyo25 climbing (and timed mountain biking) is different because it's person vs. mountain. In other sports it's person vs. person. When the opponent is the mountain, then the competitors can be cool with one another.
@@S0ulinth3machin3 I think it’s about getting to the top of your game. In any sport the best are the ones just trying to be better than they were yesterday. Even in combat sports, the guys are almost always positive with each other outside the ring, or off the mat. High level combatants in say, MMA or Boxing, need each other to push each other to get better. If you’re super aggressive about it, no one wants to play with you anymore.
I was a pretty decent HEMA fighter, I was one of the instructors in our group. We had a guy who just took the whole thing too seriously. I didn’t like to spar with him, because I didn’t trust him not to injure me. That also meant that if I matched his energy, I would be at risk of hurting him also. Sucked all the fun out of sparring. A real shame, too. He was a wrestler in school, and his grappling was fantastic! I hope he mellowed out! 😂

Hearing Adam cheering Magnus gave me goosebumps, usually when you see videos with Adam he is the one climbing. It's incredible to get these humbleness and good vibes from these absolute beasts.

Our first night there, we heard someone say, “Let’s do the Magnus route…” You are influencing people in Chico, California. Don’t let the popularity change you. Your real-ness is why you are so popular. The world needs good people. Doesn’t matter whether you are a climber or a trash collector. People watch because you are real. Thanks for being a good person.

I love Adams raw enthusiasm for climbing, he looks like such a fun guy to be around and climb with.
I’m so appreciative of the fact that these legends have learned English. It’s my only language and sometimes I over look the fact that so many people world wide have learned English.
I am not really a climber myself, only going to the climbing gym in my city once or twice a year for fun.
But what I have always loved about this sport is the Community sorrounding it. I love that people are so supportive of each other, cheering each other on while they are trying to overcome a problem together.
Watching Adams brain work on Magnus' problem was so satisfying. The tools you master determine how work gets done.
As someone who’s loved the sport of climbing long enough to watch ondras entire career, this video was such a treat to watch. incredible climbers and humans!

I'm a new climber, but what I love the most about climbing is the different puzzle solving methods and styles everyone develops. Reminds me of skateboarding in that sense, it's another sport that is a great creative outlet for technique.
All 3 of you have very unique styles and it's both incredible and inspiring to watch!

I've become utterly obsessed with your videos. There's something almost spiritual watching elite athletes continue to hone their skill. I think we all have a bit of a primal desire to conquer the "impossible." It's incredible to see all of the passion you guys have for climbing. I've actually started dreaming about climbing. I haven't climbed in 20+ years haha.
Also sidenote: That squeak Adam makes when he laughs always cracks me up.

No matter what you post, I just love watching your videos. The calm voice, explaining everything that is happening, and the sheer insane skill of climbing that even transferred to some military stuff, lol. All of that makes your channel the most entertaining thing I've watched in a while.

what I noticed, whats really good about your videos is the dynamic backgroundmusic, getting tense in tense situations and lighten up again. they should do that in competitions. shouln't be that hard

i agree its been more fun to figure out things as i improve, because more problems and types of moves and holds makes it more fun to figure out in your own way, but even starting rock climbing was super fun! thanks for always being an inspiration.
(ive been watching for forever, like maybe early vlogs around 30 ish.. ive only started climbing recently, its a super fun sport. finding your channel again on my new youtube acc brought back all the wanting to try i had since i was in elementary school, so i had to take a crack at it finally)
This is amazing! 3 Legends climbing and a competitive atmosphere....perfect! Would def love to see you guys break down the problems after. Not that I could try climb them, but helps keep the stoke for what the top level actually looks like and strive toward!

You guy seem more in the same category of climbers, so i would love to get to know a little bit more of the nuances and details of you the differences in climbing these outside boulders compared to the inside stuff and larger powerful moves.
And obviously we wanna see the 25kg beast board, sounds absolutely impossible to me as a novice

If you can prevent that heel hook and maybe even add a bit more to it so their arms are a bit tired before they reach that spot, then I think you'll have them beaten.
