Atheism is simply the position of suspending any acknowledgment as to the reality of any particular god until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. It is natural, rational, and even prudent to be skeptical of _unsubstantiated_ claims, especially _extraordinary_ ones. Do you agree?
Is it truly rational to be an atheist? Think about it. If there is a God, and heaven and hell, and you died as a non believer, you will be externally damned. Whereas, if you pick one of the hundreds of religions out there, you at least have a small probability of escaping eternal damnation. This was quoted by a famed scientist (forgot who). The universe hasn’t always been here, even scientists will tell you the universe is billions of years old (which means it had a beginning) so in short something without a beginning must’ve created this universe that had a beginning. There’s always cause and effect. Gotta figure out what the cause of said big bang was. The universe was not always here, it’s a creation in itself also
