EXPANDED COMPULSORY(MANDATORY ) INSURANCE FOR OFW

You might have seen the news na may MANDATORY insurance for migrant workers/OFWs. Just because meron na kayong life insurance from a local insurance provider does not mean na pwede nyo na itong i-submit for this purpose.
Ang coverage ng compulsory insurance na ito ay:
a) Accidental Death Benefit (USD 15,000);
b) Natural Death Benefit (USD 10,000);
c) Permanent Total Disablement Benefit (USD 7,500);
d) Repatriation Cost Benefit (Actual Cost);
e) Subsistence Allowance Benefit (USD 100 per month, for a maximum of 6 months);
f) Money Claims Benefit (3 months for every year of employment contract with a maximum of USD 1,000 per month);
g) Compassionate Visit Benefit (Actual Cost);
h) Medical Evacuation Benefit (Actual Cost); and
i) Medical Repatriation Benefit (Actual Cost).
This is REQUIRED FOR AGENCY-HIRED OFWs only. Kung direct-hire kayo, hindi ito required at optional lamang.
