Then also it's suitable for those with deadly hands, because you won't have much space to trigger from compared to the usual style where your lead hand is in a pulled back state.
Pereira certified himself as an ALL TIME GOAT. This was one of the most dominant and devastating performance I've seen someone put on. Especially when you take into account that this was a short notice fight. Alex looked so impeccable that it's frightening to see. You can't catch him on a bad day, that's how sharp he is.
He fought a perfect fight, he only caught one bad shot from Jiri but was composed and threw a monster check hook that would have knocked Jiri out (like 2 mins into the first round)

It is unfortunate how often a fighter posesses something unique (Jiri's style in this case), but the basic skills do not match the opponents, and after a loss the fighter decides to drop what made him in the first place and go face to face with only the opponents skill set and get destroyed. When you have that ace in the sleeve, you cannot give it up, you need to enhance it. Thoughts?
I think the most impressive part is that so many fighters seem to dodge fights, super delay them, or only accept if it's someone they think they can beat. Alex got a call something like 15 days in advance, essentially being asked if he's willing to put his belt on the line. Alex agrees. Then, he comes in and just smashes. Super impressive and a worthy champ.
The most wild part too is that he hasn’t kickboxed his whole life he started at 21 which compared to people that start training as kids, what he’s done in both sports is completely insane.
