f=forward knot
b=backward knot
right string will be left out on the odd numbered rows, left outer string will be left out on event numbered rows

FAQ:
•what kind of thread do you use, and where is it from?
-i use embroidery floss! it's the loops and threads brand from michales. you can also use craft cord or yarn.
•what's a wingspan?
-hold one end of your thread in your left hand, and stretch your left arm out. taking the thread in your right hand, bring i across your chest and stretch out your right arm. this is your wingspan! google has a good picture if you search it, or you could cut 65-70 inches.
•how long does it take to make this bracelet?
-for me, each bracelet i make takes me about two hours (however i've been doing it for 2+ years). depending on the pattern it might be less, or more. however, for a beginner it might take even longer, especially if you have to keep looking at a pattern.
•why does my bracelet have holes in it/how do i prevent it?
-you're bracelets aren't going to be perfect when you first start making them! the more you make them, the better you'll get and you'll pick up your own technique. also, the way some patterns are designed just make your bracelets turn out wonky regardless!
•do i have to add a button? / how do i make this specific bracelet adjustable?
-you can start/end your bracelet however you want! there is no set rule, or anything. just cut the strings like you normally would for your bracelet, and start it! it's all about personal preference.

ERROR: when explaining the strings/colors and the lengths of each, i misspoke and said both green strings should be HALF a wingspan, but also said they should be the longest strings in the bracelet. CORRECTION: both your green strings should be A WINGSPAN AND A HALF long in length! so sorry for the confusion!
is there any way to fix it if we made it a half of a wingspan??

hey guys, if you’re a beginner with 1-2 patterns, make sure for this one you switch which string is on the left side and which is on the right when you make a knot, so you don’t re-pair with the wrong string. not sure if this is a common mistake but some bracelets, (wave for example) the strings stay in the same order the entire time without switching, so if that’s what you are used to, make sure you switch on this bracelet. on a side note: this is a really great tutorial, not taking too long by explaining knots, not going too fast i have to pause every .5 seconds. really nice.

i always segment knot, it's so much easier! it's just easier to explain it row by row for a video!

the pattern is repeating so i did the whole pattern and i was repeating from row one at the start of the video!

Everytimw I do this my bracelet turns out like I should have switched the light and dark green at the beginning, and also switch the red and blacks, cuz it always turns out that the red is the seeds, and the black is the fruit, and the dark green for the rind is on the inside, with the light green on the outside. Any ideas why this is happening? I’m so confused. Thanks, and this seems like a fun bracelet, if I could get it right haha I’m just a failure 😂😂
Edit: okay sorry, It is just the way the pattern is in the beginning, I figured out the greens, and this time the red and blacks are behaving lol still don’t know what happened last time I tried I’m so stupid haha
Maybe it’s just the way the pattern starts for the greens, but I still can’t figure out the red/black issue.

Only thing was this “wingspan” measurement. I feel like the length is quite important and would’ve been MUCH easier to follow if just said inches or cm. But apart from that the rest was great 👌
