  • Nutrition and the liver are related in many ways. Your liver plays a key role in converting food into the building blocks needed to keep the body going. If you or your loved one are living with a liver disease, eating a healthy balanced diet is essential to support your body and liver’s health. While nutrition can be a complicated topic with how much information can be found online, nutrition at its roots is surprisingly simple. There are some easy tips and tricks that you or your loved one can use on your nutrition journey to make things easier. This session focuses on nutrition and liver health, presented by University of Alberta Professor and Registered Dietitian Dr. Diana Mager and the CLF's Health Promotion Program Coordinator and Registered Dietitian, Anisha Vijh.
