I’m 41 years old, got family all over the area and no disrespect, but living in section 8 or government housing doesn’t mean “the trenches” in my opinion. Slim made a lil joke about where I’m from (Reston) in another video lol.. it’s all love tho, but frfr numbers don’t lie, the murder rate for the whole city of Alexandria is like 3 murders in the past 10+ plus years. And that’s a good thing. My lil town of Reston got that many murders in just this year. Which is still low & a good thing. The point is, we get way too many people from DC and PG that may have only been to like 1 or 2 cities or 1 or 2 counties in VA that automatically assume VA ain't got hoods and that none of us are coming up hard or got any struggles which is not the case. A lot of cities in VA are rougher than they think (even though being from the hood don't make you tougher than the next man or when talkin bout black people, blacker than the next man.) You can get merked anywhere and although we don't care, we get tired of outsiders of this state guessing that we soft and assuming that none of our cities and areas have any real ghettos and if they do, they not all that dangerous, which is furthest from the truth.
