@@m3rovingian thanks IL keep that in mind, do you recommend any other bulbs that give up a bright white and not a cream effect before I order a pair of 200 for my both vehicles
I don't know about the still going strong part. You maybe driving for the past 1-2 years on lower and lower visibility, because all bulbs loose their brightness over time. But if you're pleased with them it's all what matters.
I changed my bulbs today but don't seen the huge different . It's cause the old headlight ? I cleaned the front of the headlight but looks like the inside part of the headlight is hazy a bit . Any advice well appreciated. Thanks and have a good day guys
Hello. First of all, it is a great video, thank you. When I look at the Osram website right now, NIGHT BREAKER 220 and NIGHT BREAKER LASER are available. Which one should I choose between 200 - 220 - LASER? Can you also help me with the differences between 220 and LASER? Which one should I choose? My vehicle is Megane 2022 halogen
Hello. After testing and measureing the 220, they are really a big dissapointment and not worthy of their name, The light is dim and yellowish, almost as weak as the Cool Blue Intense line. On rain you won't see much. I would still go for the +200% version, without expecting pure white light or xenon/LED performance. Keep in mind some vierwers on my channel told me they burned after 6 months, is some cases even 3-4 months. I don't know what happened there, but be aware of this. I had them for 6 months and they were still working when I replaced them with other lights for new tests.
@@m3rovingian then it is better to choose 200 instead of 220. so what is the difference between LASER and 200. 200 looks brighter in the video. but it seems like LASER gives more detailed images. which one do you think I should choose? your help is very important to me. I have been doing research for 2 days.
@omershn60 The NB 200 are newer and higher in quality and brightness. The Laser also tend to burn out faster. Still the best +200% halogen, in my opinion, are still Philips RacingVision GT200. I'd get those.
Thank you so much. In my latest videos I took the tracks off. I don't know what future will lie ahead and maybe RUclips will change the policy for the no copyright music and make it different than it is right now.
Hands down what is the best whitest, brightest halogen H4 on the market currently? I recently bought a set of the osram nb200 and currently running the racing vision bulbs that are 3 years old and are dimmer than when they were new.
If you want white light you'll sacrifice brightness. Keep your Osram 200. Philips 200 is better with 20Lux but you won't notice it. The difference is small.
It's how the camera recorded it. The NB 200 are the best offered by Osram but Philips RacingViison GT200 are even better for a lower price. For D1S get Philips WhiteVision gen2
@@m3rovingian Tnx, I bought nightbreaker 200, what is your opinion is it the same league or is philips somehow better. I need to install it and give it a go.
@@robans It's all good, just that you had to pay a bit more for about the same performance. Don't worry about the difference. They are indistinguishable. The price is the decisive factor here.
@@m3rovingian They cost the same in my Country. Osram 200 is a single pack 13€ with loyalty discount and Philips gt200 is 26€ for dual pack. But it is easier to find Osram.
Hi. I like your videos. What kind of bulb or technology would you recommend for a car with Projector Headlights? I've been trying LED and it didn't convince me 100%. I feel the projector reduces too much the light from a LED bulb. What do you think? Thanks.
I'd get the HIKARI ACME-X LEDs or the newest releases of HIKARI, the ACUMA LED. Just wait a bit until I test them and I'll come back with the results. They are advertised as being the most powerful 2022 LEDs with 20.000 lumen over the 15.000-18.000 lumen of ACME-X.
Multumesc anticipat!
@@madalinnicolae5594 Poti incerca Philips RacingVision GT200, insa LEDurile le vor depasi in intensitate.
@m3rovingian You are the reason for choosing White Vision for my wife's Yaris 1.5 years ago, NBL +150% for my Corolla 7 months ago and I just ordered NB 200 for my Hilux! Everything's great up until now. None has been burnt yet.
I am really honored and glad to know that. May they all last as long as possible and offer you a great visibility on the roads. I can't find WhiteVision anymore in my country at a decent price. The scalpers saw my recommendation, bought the entire batch and ask a price 2 or 3 times greater than normal, for a set of H7...
Hello The NB 200 look alot Brighting on that road in your video , Thought the laser ones were newer and better .. So thinking I should buy the NB 200 is that the best H7 bulb ? Or can you recommend better . Plus are they white or warm white ? Thank you
Hi. Osram NB200 are the newest ones. the Lasers have been around for a few years. Both look the same in the light color but NB200 are brighter. Still you won't see a very big difference to justify the money you'd have to spend again. My recommendation is to keep the Lasers you have now and when 1 will burn you can try the NB200. Maybe they'll get cheaper by then, because at this point they are really overpriced for what they offer. Again, both will have a warmer light than WhiteVision, but a colder one compared to the Philips X-tremeVision line or Osram NB Unlimited. None looks pure white.
Philips WhiteVision 3700k or the first gen rated at 4300k which is exactly the same bulb as in the 3700k package. Stay away from WhiteVision Ultra 4200k and don't confuse the two of them.
@@m3rovingian Salut.
Hi, thanks for the video! I used the Philips WhiteVision in my car but after less than a year they are already burned. So now I'm looking for an alternative. I thougt about the Night Breaker Laser since they are about 10€ cheapter than the NB 200 and I heard that the 200 won't last long. Do you agree or do you have another recommendation? I would be glad to get a reply from you!
You must've really abuse them. I had WhiteVision in my Renault and Polo 2004 for more than 2 years with constant use even in daytime. None burned after 1 year. No matter what you'll get, in your case they will last 6 months tops, if you speak the truth. I would get WhiteVision 3700k if you still can find them. Those were the best halogens overall I tested. If nor RacingVision GT200 would be my 2nd choice. But the light will be a bit warmer and they will last 2 times less.
Hello. This was only with low beams. I have H7 on low and high beams, but I use the high beams only in the videos where the title or the video captions says so. Otherwise it's only low beams.
@@VladimirLadev They are really warm in light color and are less bright than in my videos. For a halogen they are good, but don't expect xenon or LED performance or color.
First of all, great video as always. Dedication for these type of videos are amazing. I have a question. I'm currently on NB Laser NG as ones in Your video, is upgrade to NB 200% worth it? Thanks!
I didn't measure NBL, but I would suggest you keep the Lasers until 1 burns then upgrade to NB200. NB200 are the most powerful halogens i measured with the light mete, but they burn fast after 6 months approximately.
I wanne ask, my currency car using night breaker 150%, its already 2 year with no problem, but the night breaker 200% kinne interesting If i wanne upgrade from nbr 150% to nbr 200%, are wort it ????
Yes, especially after 2 years. But personally I would keep the NB 150 at least 6 months more or untill one burns, if it'll be faster, then upgrade to NB200
Thanks for the video I've been using NBL NG H4 on my Pulsar(C12) for 2 years, and I'm not pleased with lowbeam recently,is it worth to NB 200? ps:It's requires very complicated procedures for halogen to LED/HID legal in my country
The light will be better considering 2 years have passed and all halogens loose brightness over time. Just don't expect led or xenon look or a day/night difference. It's time to replace them even if they are not burned out.
Mersii!
Salut. As lua Philips RV GT200. Te asigur ca e o diferenta int re OSRAM Laser si NB200, chiar daca macar in aspectul calitatii.
Thanks.
@@06iamgod I recommend people to buy the cheapest +200% halogen in their country, not specifically Philips. It's true, after the 2nd light meter measurements Philips scored better than Osram with 20 Lux and Philips are cheaper. It adds up when you buy more sets. Also you cannot tell one from another in terms of brightness when the difference is so small. Even before when Osram scored better, the price increase of Osram was not worth it.
I have Audi A3 2006 Modell. I use Osram Night Breaker Laser +150 for over 1 year now. The Night Breaker 200 looks great. But i will wish for Christmas Osram Night Breaker LED 😎 Then Halogen Times are over. Audi A3 8P is certified for LED Upgrade from Osram.
NBL200 why does the manufacturer only make H7, H4 but not HB3, H11..... especially the H4 has both far and near projection but the price is cheaper than a single bulb? it's hard to explain.
Because they are operating at higher temps to be so bright and that's why on those H sockets they would not last much. It's also because Osram or Philips don't want to make themselves a disservice. Otherwise no one wouldn't buy no more their other halogen lines with H1 or HB3 and so on. All would go only for 1 product. That's why when I started to recommend you all the Philips WhiteVision bulbs, Philips stopped making them :)))
I think you should open a garage that specializes in car lights. I find you dedicated in every clip, responding or chatting in the comments in a thoughtful, thorough, and knowledgeable way. hope you get silver button from youtube soon. love!
@@cafea9454 That would be a dream come true...but it's very hard these days. Everything is so expensive. I can't afford a garage :) Not yet :D Thank you so much for your appreciation. I will keep in mind your recommendation. Maybe in the future ;)
As always very nice reviews! I have a pair of NB Laser H4 bought in 2019 for my 2010 Dacia Sandero and one of the bulb burned today (lasted 2 years already) On amazon France the NB 200 cost 28 euros vs 19 euros for the NB laser next gen Do you think its worth the extra 10 euros or should I stay with the NB laser next gen? With days getting longer I will mostly drive during daytime now to go to work so maybe its not worth the extra cost?
@@m3rovingian Yes miracle but with the pandemic I drove much less at night so that might explain why they lasted so long The Philips racing vision gt200 are still available for 22 euros on amazon France, are they what you recommend? (i do city drive mostly)
@@m3rovingian Thanks for the advice i'll compare them In the meantime I managed to find the nb200 at 25 euros and nb laser +150 at 13 euros! Does it change anything in your choice ?
Great video, and I have subscribed to your feed, and will look forward to more such interesting stuff. I do have some queries and need some advise, please : Is it better to stick with Halogen bulbs for both the high beam and fog lamps as they are reflector housings, and probably designed for Halogen bulbs ? How do LED bulbs perform in heavy rain, and fog Is it a good option to change to LEDs in the Fog Lamps ( H8/H11 - either Osram or Philips), and upgrade to better halogens in the High Beam (H7) - Osram Night Breaker 200, or then Philips White Vision 3700 K or the First Gen 4300K. The projector headlamps have HIDs ( factory fitted), and so keeping them as is.
If you are allowed to you can use the HIKARI LEDs everywhere. They are the best lights I had on my car. On the wet roads although the road will appear black, if you double the low beams by the fog lights you will not have any problems. Even with the best halogens you will feel the need for the fog projectors use on rain. On all the other weather conditions the LEDs are unmatched. You can imagine how they reflect the light off snow or dry roads and everything that is reflecting the light form the street signs and street marks. If halogens is what you want then get the cheapest ones out of the 3 you've mentioned. You won't go wrong with any of them. To use the LEDs in reflector you need to be able to adjust them right and level them in such a manner you won't blind anyone. Also the reflector must be very large, lick my Clio 3 has, in order to output a good beam pattern and good enough light. If the housing is small you may be disappointed. Don't expect MATRIX LED performance out of a kit that costs 40 times less :). But still expect to have an outstanding light.
@@m3rovingian Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to read through my message and revert with your advise. So Hikari is an American brand and not available from a dealership in India - so that option is rule out. Additionally Osram Night Breaker 200 is also not yet available in India. So will need to make a choice between Osram Night Breaker Laser Next Gen, Philips White Vision 3700 K or the First Gen 4300K, or then the XVG, to stay with the Halogen options on the High beams, H7. You did also mention that to use LEDs in reflector housings, the reflector must be very large, in order to output a good beam pattern and good enough light. So then its not advisable to install LEDs into the Fog Lights - H8/H11 ? They are smaller than the headlamps.
@@deepakjohar2992 I would use the Philips WhiteVision halogen in that case. I really don't know how the LEDs will be in a different reflector than my Renault Clio 3. All I can tell you is I drove with them without any problems of installation or beam pattern. If you install them correctly there shouldn't be any problems. Also they fit most of the cars. HIKARI is a really good brand.
So you mean that Philips White Vision is better than XVG ? I thought XVG would be the best of the options. Will go for the LEDs in the fog lamps.. Thanks once again... 🙏🙏
It's how the camera recorded them. If you want to see exactly how they are on the road, look at my rain tests done with them. Otherwise don't buy them if you expect HID light. Get the HIKARI 2023 Titanova LED or the ACUMA Nova-S +600% LED. They are the best on the planet and you'll get the light color and brightness you are searching for.
It's how the camera recorded the. But if you want you can see the videos with them on rain. That's where I set the camera to make them look as close to reality as possible. They are very warm and yellowish, but still very good for a halogen.
@@sugengnofianto682 NBLaser is warmer, although they are sold as having the same kelvin. WhiteVision will last longer, up to 2 years, while NBL will burn after about 6 months. I'd get WhiteVision out of the 2.
@@m3rovingian thanks, but it's difficult to have h1 WV in my country, only NBL, XVP, CV, DV, original halogen, long lasting bulb n fog breaker yellow. So now the choice is between NBL or XVP (XVP is twice expensive than NBL, but I don't know the lifetime is also better or not than NBL)

Why does the regular NB look so much brighter the. The Next Generation? And what would you suggest for brightest d1s bulb?

Salut. As lua Philips RV GT200. Te asigur ca e o diferenta int re OSRAM Laser si NB200, chiar daca macar in aspectul calitatii.

Great video, and I have subscribed to your feed, and will look forward to more such interesting stuff. I do have some queries and need some advise, please :
Is it better to stick with Halogen bulbs for both the high beam and fog lamps as they are reflector housings, and probably designed for Halogen bulbs ?
How do LED bulbs perform in heavy rain, and fog
Is it a good option to change to LEDs in the Fog Lamps ( H8/H11 - either Osram or Philips), and upgrade to better halogens in the High Beam (H7) - Osram Night Breaker 200, or then Philips White Vision 3700 K or the First Gen 4300K.
@@deepakjohar2992 Yes, in my humble opinion the are better after testing both of them.
Very good choice for the fog lights.
With pleasure, anytime!
is this high beam or low beam ?
High beam is only in the videos that state so in the title. Otherwise it's all low beams.
There’s no way the 200 is that bright. That looks like a 55w hids to me. I’ll try the 200 and see I guess.
The nightbreaker 200 look more like 5500k,
It's how the camera recorded the. But if you want you can see the videos with them on rain. That's where I set the camera to make them look as close to reality as possible. They are very warm and yellowish, but still very good for a halogen.
200% par sf
Sunt puternice. Doar lumina are culoarea mult mai galbuie decat in video.
What's your opinion about nbr laser vs Phillips white vision? They both 3700k, which one is brighter and/or last longer?
@@sugengnofianto682 NBLaser is warmer, although they are sold as having the same kelvin. WhiteVision will last longer, up to 2 years, while NBL will burn after about 6 months. I'd get WhiteVision out of the 2.
@@m3rovingian thanks, but it's difficult to have h1 WV in my country, only NBL, XVP, CV, DV, original halogen, long lasting bulb n fog breaker yellow. So now the choice is between NBL or XVP (XVP is twice expensive than NBL, but I don't know the lifetime is also better or not than NBL)
@@sugengnofianto682 XV will last twice as NBL. But I find it hard to believe they are double in price. NBL are not cheap in my country.
