Tried both bulb, i see no difference but my osram died earlier.
the video showed that the osram is brighter. i think the camera is auto adjusting, it causes confusion or unfair show.
I think need to use a video camera with manual settings.
I used manual settings, but it's really hard to record them just like in reality. Still, I try to tell everyone to look at my second light meter tests, where we can see Philips RacingVision GT200 are better with 20 Lux @ 3 meters away. They are the same otherwise, brightness and color. That's why I recommend people to buy the cheaper ones out of them.
Dude just a suggestion. Please fix your camera's exposure and other settings and dont leave it on auto , since its hard to understand if the light is actually that bright in comparision to the other if its just the camera making it look bright
Ok. I will do that, so people can then acuse me of making one bulb look better than another. Take into consideration my advise and also the light meter tests with the LAB PSU WATTAGE measurements. You will never go wrong.
@@m3rovingian I do take that in consideration and I am just giving an advice , I saw some people saying a weaker light as more powerful light just because the camera recorded it so. So it was just my suggestion / advice.
@@ankurkashyap2262 Yeah, I realised that also, but I can't do anything about it now. I will try to adjust the camera in the parking lot where I start the road tests and there is no exterior light spurce, but it's virtually impossible to record any car light just as in reality. I see people care more about this aspect and less about the accurate measurements.
@@m3rovingian that was just my main reason to suggest you this. Because many people seem to skip the lux meter test and the cutoff and just skip to the road test part and then they get a different idea about the bulbs.

I have the xenon Phillips white ultinon 6000k in my vehicle atm, but they aren't good when it rains or storms. The Osram night breaker seems brighter on the road test or is that because of the video? Which of the 2 would you go with?
The LEDs are a lot better than the halogens, even if they are not so great on wet roads. If you want the best LEDs a a fraction of the cost of the ones you have, get HIKARI 2023 Titanova LED and you will not have anymore problems on wet roads.

@@KingKong-cy4zf With the newest HIKARI 2023 Titanova LED, ACUMA Nova-S +600% LED or LUXSTER 2024 Punisher LED you won't have any problems because they consume as much as a halogen. This issue was with the low power consumption LEDs, like 30 - 32W each. The computer interpreted the low power consumption as the bulb being burned out and that's why the flickering or the lack of light.
What H1 bulb is used in the video? Also what H1 bulb do you recommend to go with the Phillips GT200 H7?
I only use H7 bulbs on both low and high beams. My car doesn't have H1.
If you can still find the onld Philips WhiteVision 3700K H1 then i would get that. If not, accept the warmer light of Philips X-tremeVision Pro150.
Since my car has various fittings for the headlight, would the following combo be safe for visibility (and have a unified color look)?:
1. Main dipped beam H7: RV gt200
2. High beam (and day time running light) H15: Osram Cool Blue Intense (up to 3700k)
3. Fog lights H11: Osram Cool Blue Intense (up to 5000k)
Since both H7 and H15 are next to eachother and nearly as much kelvin i tought it would still have a unified look (even tough two different brands) and be safe since the GT200 are my main bulbs for the headlights
For H7 is ok. For H15 get the Cool Blue Intense Next Gen version if you want to get that bulb and for H11 get OSRAM Night Breaker 200 for the best brightness on that fitting.

Le meilleur +200% halogène est le Philips RacingVision GT200 suivi de l'OSRAM Night Breaker 200.

They all have that loss in brightness over time. Still I recommend Philips GT200 because they are better with 20 Lux and cheaper than OSRAM NB 200.

@@akiskaradimas2593 It's hard to bring the exact measurement of that. you would have to use both halogens exactly the same amount of time and it's really hard if not impossible to do that. But in the future I will try to bring an even more accurate over time measurement. For now the best one initially was Philips RacingVision GT200. Also take into consideration the price. My recommendation is to get the cheapest out of them.
@@m3rovingian Hi, I think akiskaradimas2593 meant that the Osram had LOTS of brightness. It certainly looks that way on the video. Was that the case? Was Osram the brightest? I presume they were both on low-beam for the test.
I am after the BRIGHTEST H4 bulbs on low-beam to replace the original Osram Bilux as fitted as standard to a low-mileage ACR30R Previa, whose low-beam light output is disgracefully like 2 candles, not helped by the swept-back headlight design meaning half the light illuminates the night sky instead of the road. On a wet road at night it looks like you have PARKING lights on - seriously. These are the worst bulbs since those of a 1965 6V Beetle, and the model should never have been allowed on public roads with these bulbs.
@@johnrroberts7900 After a second light meter test at exactly 3 meters away on both bulbs, Philips RacingVision GT200 were better with 20 Lux. They are also cheaper. I would get Philips.
This is a why i went for the gt200 as there brighter bit alittle, as your recommendations are gt200 maily due to price.
What I've looked for is the best h7 bulb most advanced or reviews recommendations.
Still think osram are very good.

The RacingVision GT200 and NIGHT BREAKER 200 are really close in performance and you won't see any difference between them with the bare eyes. On the light meter tests RacingVision are a bit brighter and they are also cheaper in most countries. Considering the situation, I'd get OSRAM 200 only on H11, because RacingVision GT200 are made only for H4 and H7.

am dat 490 lei moldovenești cam 27$
după imi parea rău că am luat așa scump pînă nu am condus noaptea
Lumina ma uimit alb curat ideal nici galbenă nici albastra
O graniță de lumină superbă se vede bine cit și in indepartare dar și acostamentul îl luminează bine ( clar ca iam facut și un poliș la faruri)
Faza scurtă e mult mai puternică în apropiere si mai rece la culoare
Deci mulțumesc 2 zile am studiat canalul tău și piața de lămpi h4 cum am înțeles ele sunt cele mai bune din halogen bafta mai departe ❤
Salut! Ai facut o alegere buna. Alte halogene mai puternice inca nu au aparut. Daca vrei lumina alba iti trebuie LEDurile HIKARI, insa banuiesc ca nu vrei sa ai probleme cu politia.

Scusa ma in questo video si vedono le osram nb 200 nettamente più bianche però tu consigli le philips RV 200, in altro video le philips sono più luminose delle osram e sembrano stessi video invertiti, puoi chiarirmi per favore quale è la migliore alogena come luminosità profondità e che di vede bene in strada quando è buio e con pioggia così per non avere nessun dubbio? Non mi interessa la spesa solo la migliore alogena in assoluto che devo cambiarle le mie H7 farò a parabola skoda octavia e fiat tipo con una h7 lenticolare. Grazie per la risposta 🙋♂️
Se guardi nei miei ultimi confronti con OSRAM NB 200 e Philips RV GT200, vedrai che Philips RV è migliore con 20 Lux. Entrambi gli alogeni sono esattamente gli stessi nel colore della luce e non sarai in grado di distinguere l'uno dall'altro né per il colore né per la luminosità con i tuoi occhi. Ecco perché il prezzo è importante. Io prenderei Philips RV GT200.

Yes. I have only H7 on low beams and high beams. You'll get the same results with h4 and they might last even longer than H7.
how long work Philips RacingVision GT200?
Depends on the quality of the roads you drive on. A dear friend of mine had them for 3 years. So it's possible to have them for a long time.

On Amazon the Osram 200 is $24 and GT200 is $34 for H4. Would you still go Gt200? It's more expensive than the osram on Amazon.
On what Amazon is that. I think you misplaced the numbers on OSRAM 200. You mean 42 not 24...Stop the cap. Philips RacingVision GT200 are the better choice anyway. They are better with 20 Lux and usually less expensive all over the world, with some little exceptions.

@@user-nn7zd3bn5f Theya re not allowed on public roads. only off-road. You can install them without an issue regarding the power consuption. i use them for almost 10 months perfectly. You may need some LEd adaptors. I don't know. My car doesn't need any.

In reality both are identical. Only with the lightmeter I noticed a 20Lux improvement for Philips. They are also cheaper than OSRAM.

Osram pare mai luminos și mai alb însă Philips pare mai odihnitor. În cazul Osram pare că lumina se reflectă mai puternic din idicatoarele rutiere cee ce le face mai greu vizibile. Pentru faza lungă care ar fi cea mai bună alegere (fără a ține cont de preț).
E doar modul în care le-a înregistrat camera. in realitate amandoua arată exact la fel, cu o lumina galbuie pe asfalt. După al doilea test cu luxmetrul Philips RacingVision GT200 au ieșit mai puternice cu 0 Lux la exact 3 metri distanță. Sunt și mai ieftine, de aceea le recomand pentru soclurile H4 si H7. Pe H11 OSRAM Night breaker 200 sunt cele mai puternice, fiindcă Philips nu le produce pe soclul acela.

Get Philips RacingVision GT200 and make sure you don't touch the glass of the bulb when you install them. Also the roads must be in good shape; the vibrations and holes in the asphalt decrease the halogens' lifespan. A good friend of mine had them for 3 years.
