Personally, I think it was because we don't want to give away any secrets, and by releasing some of the documents evidently there was information contained in them that would let our enemies know what we were doing. BUT our government is very good about hiding what it's doing EVEN from the American people that may disagree with their motives. We gave them the power, and it corrupted absolutely.

Looks like this standing ovation for Stone was before they saw his delusional new JFKL movie. I can't imagine anyone clapping after seeing this recycled JFK crap. And Stone mentions a 4 hour version of this nonsense ... that must be the worst torture for any sane mind. Stone has completely sold out and should retire, really.
