Thanks for the info....I never knew that you had to update each battery.Maybe that's why I always have trouble with mine,I don't use it very often but I do keep it updated when I get notified or I see a video online like this.
constant server error -4 when trying to update firmware.... net connection is fine, no restrictions, tried changing dns servers etc. this is ridiculous... it updates the other database fine, just not firmware.

So I’m having a major issue, and I’m still fairly new to this. So I crashed my mini 3 base (first and only drone) into a waterfall back in august and replaced it with the mini 3 pro, when I got the pro the RC had to do some updates so I could use the pro and all it’s tools. But now whenever I record video, before I would pop the memory card out and pop it into the RC and look at my footage and delete the junk clips. But now it says something like “cannot view in 1080p somethin somethin RC, use yadayada to transfer” does anyone know how to fix this or what I’m doing wrong? It’ll let me view quickshots though for some reason, it’ll let me view a divine, but if I went to manually fly my own divine shot it’ll be like “ehh can’t view in 1080p on this rc sorry” where on my mini 3 base it was never an issue. I’m not sure if it’s the drone, the rc, the update, I have no idea and can’t find anyone or anything else with the same issues. Any help and I would be so grateful.
Is there anyway a Dji mini 3 pro user can determine what firmware version they have installed, rather than just relying on the new 'Firmware update is available' notification? Cheers

Thanks for that video, great explanation, i got one question how can i trun of the FlySafe Update - because I had the issue that the drone didn't start because apparently it was in a "no fly drone" area. Bevor i could just check that I am check the box " I am taking the full responsibility" and thats it .... the are was in middel of hanoi in the holydays. - once it started the drone but the drone got forced to land on the spot.
That's a great question. From what we know, the Flysafe database cannot be turned off. The only way around this that we have found, thusfar, and correct me if I'm wrong, is to run the update while on a home wifi network prior to heading out. This is something we have built into the process before flights on a regular basis, to keep from getting grounded.
All updating is terrible. “Server errors” etc. company needs to get a grip on all of this. They put out a product (new goggle use) with shitty updating sites.
You can use any manufacturers 30-watt charger, as 30-watts is the optimal wattage for the amount of batteries being charged and speed. DJI "recommends" using theirs, but others work just fine.

I have been trying for days to upload the new firmware update. Each attempt gets to about 60% and then status changes to upload failed and to retry.
