    I don't want to be "that guy" but digital calipers, dial calipers and Vernier calipers are all different, a Vernier scale is two sets of markings that align with each other along a linear scale. No moving parts and great for confusing apprentices. No batteries to go flar and don't get crunchy like dial calipers,
