After moving to Lithuania at the beginning of the year, Avri’s mom is finally visiting us in Europe! This is her first time back since 2007, and we couldn’t be more excited. Before arriving here, she’s making a stop in Switzerland to catch up with family, and then she’s heading to Lithuania to see our new home and spend some quality time with us.
To make her feel extra welcome, we’re preparing one of her favorites-homemade beef and bean chili! We wanted to give her a warm, cozy welcome with a delicious meal and plenty of love. Glad to hear Georgia is coming to Lithuania for good medical care. I've lived on NYC most of my life. I've always gotten very good medical care. I'm a registered nurse so I know the quality care. I'm also a middle age woman who moved from Jamaica at age 16

Can I come live in Lithuania.....I'm about to retire. I live in Florida. Everywhere in the USA is expensive. I don't own a home. I just need a simple quiet easy life now ....

Wish we could help but there is only two ways to migrate here, either by marriage and obtaining a residence permit or finding a job here in LT. Plus, I think there are much easier places in Europe to retire. It gets very cold here in LT. I would look into Portugal, Greece or Spain (very affordable). South East Asia (like Thailand or Vietnam) is also a great option, very cheap to live, weather is very similar to the Caribbean and people are super nice and welcoming.
Some good options in the Caribbean too like St Kitts or Barbados. Life is very peaceful and simple in these countries but could also be pricey 😢
