My dad had skin cancer. He got it about 20 years ago. He had a huge birth mark on his chest, a size of a tennis ball. At some point he got stung by a bee and it turned into cancer. The cancer spread to his lymph nodes. They scooped it out, put him on chemotherapy but his body rejected the chemo, and they switch it to bio therapy ( a milder form of chemo), and as of now he is cancer- free. You got this! Stressing out is not an option! Try to get rid of negative thoughts, switch to a healthier food choices and get rid of sugar all together! People have heeled from a more dangerous type of cancer. And remember, God is in control!
Alex you are going to be ok my son at 23 was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma it was devastating in March he started chemo and we are happy he complete 6 months of chemo going every 2 weeks . We are just waiting on the final scan now . God is powerful and he listens. I am a nurse and this was my 23 year old what do I say . God pulled us through . I am grateful and I praise him everyday .

Sorry to hear what your going through, thankful you have been under a good team. Dermatologist here. More awareness is vital as you mentioned its always that mole that looks different. We call it “ugly duckling” a warning sign of melanoma. If I may add, everyone needs sunscreen ( without oxybenzones) . I have written papers on skin cancer in skin of color, which DOES occur although less common than Caucasians. Bob Marley sadly passed from acral lentigenous melanoma -ALM, a type of melanoma which was unfortunately brushed off by clinicians. Prayers for ongoing health.

Wow! Hearing your story mirrors mine! I’m African American and we always grew up thinking skin cancer didn’t really happen to us. Well, in Feb of 21’ I noticed what resembled a mole except it had a tinge of red undertones. I went to the dermatologist to have it checked. She scraped it off and sent it for testing and in five days she was calling me telling me I had skin cancer and an aggressive form. The tumor was on my thigh and when they did the surgery, they had to go deep and wide to make sure that there were no cancer cells in the area. They also had to remove lymph nodes from my groin area. Long story short praise God, no cancer cells outside of the tumor and none in the lymph nodes! Happy for your healing!
Oh, Kem and Alex, I had been searching for the two of you here on RUclips and on Instagram for some weeks now. You and your family have been in my heart, thoughts, and prayers for a long while. Yes,.... Hearing that you have Cancer is not easy, I heard I had cancer five years ago.. Just Keep a positive attitude and be strong in faith - remember that life is temporary for EVERYONE!!!! I did a major surgery five years ago, The day I drove myself to the hospital I passed an accident in which a 15 year old died. There it was I am 55 going to save my life and there was a 15 yar old dead.... SO one never knows how life goes! Prepare yourself spiritual to go, but live your life! I was told to check back every three months after surgery, BUT I decided that I would not be living under that constant fear each month and have cancer dominate my life. I wanted to life free! So I checked back 5 years later when I sae a discharge! Teh check proved the type of cancer to be gone! I give God praise. BUT I am VERY aware that the cancer can come back at any time. In the mean time life continues, I have an opportunity to do all i can and love even harder before it may return! LOL. I have asked God to let me die fast and painfree if it should come back. I know it is a big ask, but why not? LOL Go live your best life guys! Just focus on your life goals and get them done!~ PELASE don't feel guilty and regretful of how you lived and loved in the past! Who knows exactly how u got cancer! I remember that my mom blamed hers on the stress of church! She died of heart failure while takeing a cancer test! Woeeee. Do relax, you gonna be ok! BTW. If I can say cancers can be caused by being exposed to toxins , eating processed foods chemical foods but also can be caused by our emotions. Having carrying bitterness,anger hurt can cause it. I don’t want to get it but since I’m so emotional and have a hard time forgiving I could get it even though I eat mostly organic, no meat but I do eat sweets sometimes
It will be removed and you will be ok in the end. Skin cancer is curable when found early. Sounds like it was. As a cancer patient myself, stage 2 cervical, treatment was brutal but I'm now in remission. I truly believe you will be ok. Keeping you in prayer.

This video came across my feed and I saw the title and your beautiful young faces and had to watch! I was 23 yrs when I noticed a mole on my stomach. At first I thought I snagged my skin with my pants zipper, because it had a reddish hue to it. Well I showed my Mom, and I was going into the Dermotologist to remove a cyst I had and my Mom suggested I get that checked as well. The Dr. took one look and immediately removed most of it and sent it out for a biopsy. He said he'd call me at the end of the week with the results. Comes Friday morning and he called me at my work. He told me that me and my Mom should come to his office, and that I had a form of cancer. Oh wow! I was terrified to say the least. I had to drive home from my work in Los Angeles California to the San Fernando Valley, where I lived with my boyfriend. Needless to say it was Melanoma, the most dangerous skin cancer. I had an operation on my stomach and they cut 8 inches long and the original mole was smaller than a pencil eraser. It was stage 1 superficial. Thank god! I had regular skin checks, along with regular lung xrays and other tests earlier than normal, to make sure. Well I past the 5 yrs. mark! I am now 67 yrs and still no reoccurrence of melanoma. However, the last 2 yrs I've only had squamis and basil cell. That was 45 yrs ago! I think if my Mom had not suggested I get that checked, I wouldn't be alive today, living my best life❤❤❤. I know 5 cancer survivors, one of my closest friends had leukemia which was already at an advanced stage in 2017 at the age of 20 and here we are 2024, she's 100% recovered even when we didn't afford the recommended born marrow transplant...my nephew too got leukemia at the age of 2, and he's 7 now and fully recovered. The other 3 recovered from prostate and throat cancer...God will surely make you well❤ praying for you
Kem I asked you advice last year about giving birth to my son. I got diagnosed with leukemia this year. It’s something that you just don’t feel like opening about until you’re ready and it’s super super scary to even think about the future especially with a new family. All you can do is just be the positive one as my husband is for me. Be the strength that he needs because while we can’t be strong all the time.. you’re needed to lift spirits. Lift hope. And though you might cry at night wondering. Worrying. It’s a battle that must be fought. Together. Sending lots and lots of love.

Hearing the word cancer makes your heart stop for a minute. I heard those words and it was also skin cancer. They had to do surgery on that area 4 times before they got it all. I was never someone who was out in the sun but the doctor said because I was so fair skinned made me more suseptible to it. That was 25 years ago. I've had several different ones removed since then. If you could pray for my nephew who is 30 and just found out he has Non Hodgkins lymphoma. He had his first chemo last Friday. He has 3 small children and a wife. Thank you for the prayers . Alex I am so sorry to hear about your cancer diagnosis. I emphasize with you as a cancer survivor. In 2021, I went to do my regular cancer tests. After that I noticed some irregularities so I went immediately to the Gynecologist who did further research then I received the bad news luckily it was the 1st stage. I know the emotional stress the a lot of tests to be done luckily I did a surgery removing everything. I am giving you hope my mom die at 98 she had skin cancer for years she didn't die from it. We are in jamaica and got the treatment needed it's costly . I just did my year follow-up doing good. But it's mentally stressful. I don't even want to hear the word. I so thankful you are ok so far.
Be hopeful, as nowadays the treatment for cancer has improved a lot. Just keep up with your check ups and eat well. Omit sugar from your diet. Plenty of vegetables 🥦 , fruits. My sister has stg 4 cancer and is still undergoing treatment and we remain hopeful.

A vegan diet can be very helpful for your health. I would think about it or even a vegetarian diet. Well, in Feb of 21’ I noticed what resembled a mole except it had a tinge of red undertones. I went to the dermatologist to have it checked. She scraped it off and sent it for testing and in five days she was calling me telling me I had skin cancer and an aggressive form. The tumor was on my thigh and when they did the surgery, they had to go deep and wide to make sure that there were no cancer cells in the area. They also had to remove lymph nodes from my groin area. Long story short praise God, no cancer cells outside of the tumor and none in the lymph nodes! Happy for your healing!

Thank God it did not spread. Watch your diet too, reduce sugars, and processed foods just to stay on the safe side.
Cut sugar out entirely. Plenty greens in your diet also fruits. Water. Practice the 8 laws of health.
And go jamaica and get some soursop great for cancer😊

Yes,.... Hearing that you have Cancer is not easy, I heard I had cancer five years ago.. Just Keep a positive attitude and be strong in faith - remember that life is temporary for EVERYONE!!!! I did a major surgery five years ago, The day I drove myself to the hospital I passed an accident in which a 15 year old died. There it was I am 55 going to save my life and there was a 15 yar old dead.... SO one never knows how life goes! Prepare yourself spiritual to go, but live your life! I was told to check back every three months after surgery, BUT I decided that I would not be living under that constant fear each month and have cancer dominate my life. I wanted to life free! So I checked back 5 years later when I sae a discharge! Teh check proved the type of cancer to be gone! I give God praise. BUT I am VERY aware that the cancer can come back at any time. In the mean time life continues, I have an opportunity to do all i can and love even harder before it may return! LOL. I have asked God to let me die fast and painfree if it should come back. I know it is a big ask, but why not? LOL
Go live your best life guys! Just focus on your life goals and get them done!~ PELASE don't feel guilty and regretful of how you lived and loved in the past! Who knows exactly how u got cancer! If I can say cancers can be caused by being exposed to toxins , eating processed foods chemical foods but also can be caused by our emotions. Having carrying bitterness,anger hurt can cause it. I don’t want to get it but since I’m so emotional and have a hard time forgiving I could get it even though I eat mostly organic, no meat but I do eat sweets sometimes
It will be removed and you will be ok in the end. Skin cancer is curable when found early. Sounds like it was. As a cancer patient myself, stage 2 cervical, treatment was brutal but I'm now in remission. I truly believe you will be ok. Keeping you in prayer.

This video came across my feed and I saw the title and your beautiful young faces and had to watch! I was 23 yrs when I noticed a mole on my stomach. At first I thought I snagged my skin with my pants zipper, because it had a reddish hue to it. Well I showed my Mom, and I was going into the Dermotologist to remove a cyst I had and my Mom suggested I get that checked as well. The Dr. took one look and immediately removed most of it and sent it out for a biopsy. He said he'd call me at the end of the week with the results. Comes Friday morning and he called me at my work. He told me that me and my Mom should come to his office, and that I had a form of cancer. Oh wow! I was terrified to say the least. I had to drive home from my work in Los Angeles California to the San Fernando Valley, where I lived with my boyfriend. Needless to say it was Melanoma, the most dangerous skin cancer. I had an operation on my stomach and they cut 8 inches long and the original mole was smaller than a pencil eraser. It was stage 1 superficial. Thank god! I had regular skin checks, along with regular lung xrays and other tests earlier than normal, to make sure. Well I past the 5 yrs. mark! I am now 67 yrs and still no reoccurrence of melanoma. However, the last 2 yrs I've only had squamis and basil cell. That was 45 yrs ago! I think if my Mom had not suggested I get that checked, I wouldn't be alive today, living my best life❤❤❤. Me too...I was watching a comedy, so bias ...I called it a comedy about Meghan Markle...I am a Brit & follow the Royal Family when she came on the scene....I was like you people are having a laugh...She was bullied on a daily basis..She was bullied throughout her pregnancy..Now I have to listen to you people twisting why Prince Harry had to save his wife & child by taking them away from Toxic Britain...After shouting at the TV I decided "switch that TV off" ..Got on my phone & could not believe what I had just read...I have followed you guys for years...As you guys have asked 😢 not to feel sorry for you..I am shocked but Alex is healthy 🙏 so I will send you both the strength to live your life to the max...I will most definitely gofund ian-burgess.

I know 5 cancer survivors, one of my closest friends had leukemia which was already at an advanced stage in 2017 at the age of 20 and here we are 2024, she's 100% recovered even when we didn't afford the recommended born marrow transplant...my nephew too got leukemia at the age of 2, and he's 7 now and fully recovered. The other 3 recovered from prostate and throat cancer...God will surely make you well❤ praying for you

Kem I asked you advice last year about giving birth to my son. I got diagnosed with leukemia this year. It’s something that you just don’t feel like opening about until you’re ready and it’s super super scary to even think about the future especially with a new family. All you can do is just be the positive one as my husband is for me. Be the strength that he needs because while we can’t be strong all the time.. you’re needed to lift spirits. Lift hope. And though you might cry at night wondering. Worrying. It’s a battle that must be fought. Together. Sending lots and lots of love.

Hearing the word cancer makes your heart stop for a minute. I heard those words and it was also skin cancer. They had to do surgery on that area 4 times before they got it all. I was never someone who was out in the sun but the doctor said because I was so fair skinned made me more suseptible to it. That was 25 years ago. I've had several different ones removed since then. If you could pray for my nephew who is 30 and just found out he has Non Hodgkins lymphoma. He had his first chemo last Friday. He has 3 small children and a wife. Thank you for the prayers . Alex I am so sorry to hear about your cancer diagnosis.
I emphasize with you as a cancer survivor. In 2021, I went to do my regular cancer tests. After that I noticed some irregularities so I went immediately to the Gynecologist who did further research then I received the bad news luckily it was the 1st stage. I know the emotional stress the a lot of tests to be done luckily I did a surgery removing everything.
I am giving you hope my mom die at 98 she had skin cancer for years she didn't die from it.
We are in jamaica and got the treatment needed it's costly . I just did my year follow-up doing good. But it's mentally stressful. I don't even want to hear the word.

Be hopeful, as nowadays the treatment for cancer has improved a lot. Just keep up with your check ups and eat well. Omit sugar from your diet. Plenty of vegetables 🥦 , fruits. My sister has stg 4 cancer and is still undergoing treatment and we remain hopeful.

All praise goes to God!!!! I've been watching you guys for at least a year. I'm glad there was no spread of your cancer. I lost two of my siblings to cancer(Breast & Colon). A vegan diet can be very helpful for your health. I would think about it or even a vegetarian diet. I became vegan/vegetarian about a 1.2 years now, and I've felt and seen the difference for the better. I will donate for your friend.
