If I remember correctly your still wearing the converse or something similar. Has anyone ever contacted you from watching the shows and go hey tht was me? Great story. I could see how much you enjoyed talking abt the stone maps. Thx.
What always surprises me is the Spanish didn't discover gold in California long before the gold rush. The Spanish were always pretty good at smelling out gold.
The story about the 3 red hills, there is a similar one from the Pinos Altos, NM area. Wonder which came first? Have you heard of it? Sounds like one was copied from the other?
Great story Wayne. You have so much time in the mountains.
I am fortunate to have had that time as well
Thanks for sharing the stories.

Thanks for the video Wayne. I couldn't catch it when it aired at 3:00. This time of year my life consists of shoveling snow.... Tons of cardio.
