That's the main reason why people root against the Pakistan players, their fanboys set impossibly high standards for them & then they downplay or make excuses for them when they lose. SpaghettiRip was discussing this on his stream last night & he said the same thing.
@@ShaunInce123 I'm glad you were able to categorise literally every single Pakistani Tekken player like that, surely that kind of behaviour is exclusive to Pakistan. Hypocrite bigot ass.

You get commentators to stop talking over eachother by actually getting them to commentate with eachother specifically, a lot. From that point they'll know who is going to call plays like that, or who will analyze decisions or whatever. Plus they can then develop enough chemistry to actually be entertaining when they have to fill dead air time. also phidx da goat
Yeah they just need time to build that chemistry. And iambic is fairly new (compared to the others) when it comes to commentating big events like CEO etc. Whereas Tasty Steve, Markman, Rip, MYK - guys like that have not only commentated together numerous times but they've known each other for 15-20 years plus. While I'm not personally a fan of iambic - I'm sure if given a chance to develop and build that chemistry with the rest of them, she'll do just fine.
Generally, commentators dictate who’s doing color & play-by-play. If commentators are stepping on each other’s toes, it’s an indication of inexperience commentating with each other. But usually when something hype happens, both commentators will make an exclamation to let the audience know that something hype happens

1:40 Sajam has actually spoken about this. You basically just get a feel for it, and instantly shut up when someone else starts talking. Comes with experience I suppose
1:40 thats something i think just comes with feel and chemistry between commentators. Professional sports try to get a more energetic feel commentator with a more by the book play by play guy/girl. I also think 3 people on commentary is too much. It either leaves someone never talking or people constantly talking over each other.
1:30 In League of Legends, I heard their commentators tap the table when they have something they want to say or point out. Signals like that will help a lot in giving everyone their voice, but League is a much slower game than fighting games, so I'm not sure if it'll really work for us
Answer to your question in the beginning. In professional commentaries, there are 2 speakers. The Play by play commentator and the analyst. Both roles created for one to lead, and the other to break down situations etc
1:29 _"How to figure out how to not speak over each other?"_ Have visual queues for each other for when you want to start speaking. So like one commentator speaks and the other instead of starting to talk immediately presses a button and his light turns on. The other person sees it, they stop talking when they're finished and the second they do it, they know that the other guy wants to start talking, and so the other guy talks. Now, this might sound like it wouldn't work, but look how professional chess player do it, it's exactly the system professional chess players use in the Blitz Chess: they can make 5 moves in 5 seconds sometimes.

you need to KNOW your commentator friend like KNOW the very first time i ever saw FOUR commentators at a time was at strong style & they all knew one another. they know their rythm
The girl commentator doesn't bring much to the commentary. She sometimes repeats what the other commentator says, doesn't bring anything analytical to the commentary. She can throw out a few tech terms to make it sound like she's smart. But the main reason for talking over another commentator is to run with what the other person is saying so it looks like you are also bringing something to the table.
I understand where that comes from on her part but I still agree with you. Overall, the male commentators looked like they're a lot more comfortable around each other, I think it has to do with people in general being more at ease with others of the same sex and also already having some chemistry, she didn't have that with either of the male commentators.
The same kind of upset happened last year at EVO Vegas where Arslan got beaten by a Chole player and just a month back he beat that same player 3-0. This was a master event and Arslan is at the top of the food chain in terms of points. So, this is a practice match for him. In my opinion, he went there to compete in SF 6 tournament and test himself out there.
If he had won those without cleanly beating the current best player it would feel like a hollow victory, beating Arslan in this way is honeslty probably more satisfying just knowing you completely outplayed him mentally.
People just gotta learn how Ash plays and he’s easy peasy. He will appear like everyone else who’s good or really good at Tekken 7. Part of the people that you win some and lose some.
