This whole interview is about how grateful he is for others help. We need more of this in 2024.

What a terrific guy Lyle seems to be; kind and humble and grateful and respectful. So glad the whole "Julia Roberts fiasco" didn't destroy him or scar him!! Great humor too.

I've been a Lyle fan for many years. He may look a little country, and say things a little slow, but he is often the smartest guy in the room! His comedic timing is perfect! He has little one liners that takes everyone else several minutes to catch on to, and he is funny as hell! Not to mention being a top songsmith and artist. He is one of our national treasures! 8) --gary

      Thank you for posting!
I 1st heard Lyle when a co-worker, at a house he was building, put on one of his casettes, while we were having lunch.
      I was blown away.
The man is the real deal.
      Been a fan ever since.

He is such a nice man! I get what he is saying about the land! He must be the same age as me because in 1976 I was 18 too and had a horse accident which messed up my back. I went to Germany in the late 70s to work with horses, so theres lots of cross over.

So professional and such a well spoken gentleman who truly appreciates the industry people, and especially the fans, who allow him to make a living thru music. If I was a performer, I would want to deport myself with that same grounded appreciative attitude.

      I know!
I had the great opportunity to meet and talk with him after a concert on the Pier in Seattle in the 90s. He was gracious and funny. My friend asked him who cut his hair. He said he cut it himself. Lol.
He used to come every year. And I went every time. It's been about 6 years now, though, that I haven't kept up. I love him and his music so much!

Lyle harkens backs to a time when we used to take the time to listen to each other. Nowadays conversation is so rapid fire we miss much of the message. We have much to learn if we just slow down and really listen. Lyle is brilliant.
