As always, thanks to everyone who watches. I appreciate it. Развлечения
For the love of God, that cracked me up big time! Thank you, and congratulations on the NGD!
Thanks! As soon as I finish this riff I’ll check her out some more.
Jokes on you, I can’t afford a les Paul, I don’t have this problem.
Epiphone!
Would have been even more realistic if the G-String went out of tune after 3 bars
ᛞᛖᚾᚾᛁᛋ ᛏᚱᛟᚹᚨᛏᛟ 😂😂 this one has been surprisingly stable when it comes to tuning.
ahahah ... your vids are so good to watch ... love the sense of humor you put on them .... and ofcourse so well edited !!!!!
Always a shotr movie ... great ... Thanks
Greetings from Portugal
Stay Safe! & Keep on Rockin
Thanks!
I feel like I’ve heard that riff before, but I just can’t quite seem to place it. Guitar looks and sounds great. 🎸✨
Matt Jackson I think it’s an old Peter, Paul & Mary tune
Guitar Movies That’s why I couldn’t place it, the original was probably played on an acoustic or on an electric with a clean tone. Thanks for clearing that up for me.👍
Matt Jackson your’e joking right😂
Julian Oliver I never joke about music. 😉🎸
Matt Jackson 👍👍 its sweet child o’mine by guns and roses :)
Great video and I like your humour. You got yourself a sub from the UK 🇬🇧👍
Thanks!
Hahah! I somehow already knew before starting the video! ! Great video you have a new subscriber.
1980glamfan Thanks!
Brilliant!
Actually took delivery of a special tribute yesterday. Haven't played a Les Paul shaped guitar for a very long time. Am now a Strat guy. But a Standard LP was my number 1 for years..
One thing I found myself doing without realising that I ever had this habit: You know the strings between the bridge and the stop tailpiece on a standard LP? Well apparently I used to drag the pick across that section of the guitar strings.. and I'd do this every time before putting it down.. I know this because muscle memory keeps trying to make me do this! Apart from obvs there is no stop tailpiece on the Specials. And so I just keep giving the guitars body a 'quick strum' instead...(!) So weird.
I said good day sir Congrats on the new guitar!
I don’t always subscribe, but when I do, it’s gotta be Guitar Movies. Love the vids bud, keep pumping em out. 🤟🏻
Thanks!
Now I gotta learn that riff haha
shit is hilarious. i got my first gibson 2 months ago and the intro and 3rd solo of sweet child was the first thing i played. you gained a new sub
Thanks!
I knew what you were going to do and STILL I laughed my damn head off...
Shayne Joseph I win!
I knew where this was going!
Nope. Not me. I used to work in a guitar shop and every dude who walked in and picked up a Les Paul played that friggin riff. Also, we had a Jackson V and everyone who picked it up played “Crazy Train.” It used to drive me nuts. I own an SG double neck but I have NEVER (nor will I ever) played “Stairway” on it.
Kevy Nova I think working in a shop would be awesome and awful at the same time. I’d probably lose my mind.
Guitar Movies I LOVED being around guitars all day but by the end I was starting to hate guitar players. 😂
Short, sweet and simple. Just what I like to see. Bye the way, nowdays I wait for my grocery like this 😂
Mayank Pal New Groceries Day 😂😂
@@guitarmovies That reminded me to buy bigger knife for my tomatoes 😁.
Lmao I knew exactly which riff you were going to play. For me whenever I get a LP in my hands, preferably a custom, I roll the tone off a bit, select the neck pickup and play the intro solo to Fade to Black.
Ha! Nice. My actual go-to is Sunshine of Your Love
Classic!!! On my latest Les Paul NGD, I played the opening riff from Immigrant Song repeatedly for more days than I care to remember., After spending entirely too much time making sure my beautiful new Gibson was slung as LOOOWWW as I could possibly get it. (knuckle dragger)
Haha! That sounds like a good time.
I dont get it, what's that you're playing. I own an SG though so the first thing I played was a heavy open A chord....
ANGUS FOREVER!
@@guitarmovies Yes Sir! Which is apparently ok to do and not frowned on by others. I'm a newer player but thus far I have learned:
1. No "Stairway" at guitar stores.
2. No "SCOM" when getting a new Les Paul.
That was excatly what I did as soon as I put my hands on my les paul for the first time.
You're in good company
ROFLMOA. Man you are so right about this . It is always either Sweet Child, or, for those if us who remember when Bell-bottomed trousers were completely new and considered quite fashionable, The Boys Are Back In Town. Either way: DO NOT DO THIS IN PUBLIC (and remember to hydrate, and keep breathing - especially after the first five hours). if you should find yourself doing this in public, then wash your hands afterwards and apologise as soon as possible.
I'll throw on some bell bottoms and bust out some Thin Lizzy!
LOL omg - I knew it was coming. Still.... wasn't ready for it. Plz... just stop - for the love that is all that is holy in the land. That thing does looks super sweet though!
Yeah she's real purty
Funny
I got my first brand new Les Paul back in 1977, first song I played was Black Diamond by KISS.
For over a year I worked and saved for that guitar, I was only 15 years old at the time and didn't realize it would be many decades before I found a nicer/better instrument.
They are incredible guitars. I've been a Fender fan forever, but this past year or two I've been converting more and more to Gibson.
ohhh ... Yeah ... didnt you know ... that riff comes with every LEs Paul from factory !!!!! dahhh !!! LOL ;)))))
Damn dude, I laughed like a mule.
Johnny Nowhere Heehaw!
@@guitarmovies your editing was the crowning jewel. Keep it up, Ace.
Truth
Can confirm
For me it's....not that....but I love the knife part....
I knew what was coming and I thought, haha! I have a les Paul and have never played that rif! I win!
Big Baby Champion
Guitar Movies hahaha! No sir you are the champion! You got in my head before the rif! Nice vid.
haha awesome! now get a strat and play 035
Nicolás Ramírez Barros 😂😂
This comment deserves to be higher lol
You get this like only, because I’ve never been more angry with anything that is 100% true and that I 100% agree with.
Valkyrie Saddlebreds 😂😂
Haha 😂 beautiful LP
Thanks!
Hahahaha, it's definitely creeps out every once in a while.....from the thumb nail I thought it was going to be the ignorance of upper fret bend discomfort.
It does look like I just hurt myself. It's supposed to me trying to fight off the urge to play Slash 😂😂
I thought you were going to play Stairway at first :D
I thought about it, but I actually don't know how to play it 😂
@@guitarmovies Me neither lol
Can't say I done that
First riff on the Les Paul was "Skid row - big guns", and after that "Kiss - shock me" :)
Solid choices!
I thought he was going to sniff it ! hahahahaha
The new Gibson smell is so good.
My first experience with a Gibson Les Paul: why is this neck so sticky??? None of my other 10 guitars from various manufacturers are like this!!!
I got a new Fender with a lacquer neck, and that thing is like flypaper right now!
Prasanth Selvadurai I didn’t keep the PRS
I never even tried to learn that overplayed song
I thought that it was going to be a sustain joke...
It definitely holds a note for a loooonnnngggg time.
Lol you made a vid about what we have been thinking for years!! Because of cookie cutter RUclips guitar demos and GC douchers I have come to HAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE that entire song because of that one riff..
Hahahahahaha!....oh... yep, I'm guilty
Andy Goode Guitar There are so many of us.
Fan of the channel, but no mate. How dare you ambush me like that
I'M THE WORST
Hahahahahaha!!!
I don’t even know the lick and I hate GNR
Daetok Everything’s going to be ok.
Sorry but your wrong. I have this Les Paul never played that riff. I play blues mostly Peter Green but not only on it.
That's not a noife.
Nope 👎
lame...
nedelea lucretiu Your mom taught me everything I know
@@guitarmovies lame.. nevertheless
Hold up, hold up. An Esee Junglas. Is this dude a knife nut and a guitar nut? How have I not seen this channel before? Do you make any knife related videos?
I have an Instagram page that’s knife and bushcraft based and whenever I make a post about guitars, they flop. No one cares. I might be jumping the gun a bit but it’s pretty cool whenever I discover someone with similar interests. It doesn’t happen all that often.
