I watched these types of videos right before I started working at starbucks. I was so anxious!!! I had no idea what to expect. Half a year later, I'm here again. Now I'm counting the syrup pumps with you, analyzing how you hold bottles, and noticing how we do some things differently (loved your technique with the matcha btw). These videos definitely hit different as a barista. You're killin' it!
I'm about to start training tomorrow and I'm so nervous and excited! My location is pretty busy (it's in an expensive mall where college kids go a lot) so I'm hoping I catch on quick!!
I genuinely miss being a barista, even when it was busy af and people were terrible, there’s just something about making people drinks that’s monotonous and calming and it brings joy to other people. Lowkey just wanna drop out of college and work at a coffee shop half the time lmao
As a person who started drinking coffee since i was 12yo,and still enjoying the taste, being a Starbucks barista is a dream for me, i wanna make ppl enjoy their own coffee the same way i enjoy it. I start watching those videos to practice before applying to the job, And im glad your video is the best one I’ve ever watched
This Starbucks is better than a Drive Through it seems like so calm and chill are Coffee place can be a little crazy sometimes because we get a lot of Baristas most of the time.
The way they didn’t fill the lattes to the top had me PRESSEDDDDD. If I’m paying 8 bucks for a drink it better be filled to the brim!! This is why I always ask for light ice
It was fascinating to watch the production process of beverages that are not sold in Korea🥤.The video had a calm atmosphere, which made it relaxing to watch throughout. I really enjoy your videos. By the way, Why don't you include subtitles with the prices of the beverages? While watching the video, I was curious about how much each drink costs. If I get the chance, I would also like to work at Starbucks. Have a great day!🥰
hi there! for the matcha drink, was it a vente iced matcha tea adding 8 pumps of brown sugar syrup, and add salted caramel foam? i just wanted to make sure
She said it’s venti iced matcha tea latte with 6 full pumps of the brown sugar syrup or 12 half pumps of the brown sugar sugar syrup and salted caramel cold foam
I work at a Starbucks and am dying to make videos like this but we are located in a business area near all the google buildings so the mornings are busy as hell and Customers would never get their drinks if I did this LOL
The video of you working at Starbucks is healing, and the video of making drinks feels like relieving stress. If I have a chance later, I want to work at Starbucks like you. I have a question, what is your favorite drink in Starbucks? If you recommend it, I will definitely try it at Starbucks later. I am happy to see your drink making video at Starbucks today
thank you so much! here are some drinks i recommend 1. 3 shots of espresso with 4 or 5 (depending on your preference of sweetness) pumps of white mocha in a venti cup with extra ice (this is a similar drink to the vietnamese iced coffee) 2. peach green tea lemonade (sweetened is not necessarily needed) 3. grande iced matcha with 2 pumps of chai (moon drink) 4. matcha frappuccino, no classic syrup and add one shot of espresso
The whipped cream that spits everywhere, that's my pet peeve!! >:( I agree with all the other comments about your matcha technique. I doubt my store would let me do that though. "Too different", haha
The discord notification at the beginning was really disappointing, I thought it was my friend 😭 the drinks like so good though! I love a matcha frap once in a while 😊
as someone who’s just started working at a Starbucks, I would say there’s nothing to worry about when it comes to mixing drinks or messing up when you’re first starting. they even expect you to mess up! just as long as you know what happened and how to improve. i would also say that working at Starbucks, depending on your area and which store it is, it does require some extroverted skills when it comes to talking to customers and creating “customer connections,” as the company loves to push it as. Starbucks is all about creating a welcoming environment for people to enjoy coffee and relax, and that includes getting to know your customers and who your regulars are. all in all, there’s plenty of different jobs and things you can do while working at Starbucks, and if you find that you excel in areas with least customer connections, such as cold bar or hot bar, then that’s great too! in all honesty, Starbucks is quite literally just another fast food job, depending on which location you work at. it can become just as stressful as working at a chick fil a, but there are definitely unique locations that perhaps do have more of a formal, calmer customer demographic rather than more jam packed ones, like the one I work at that’s smack dab right in the middle of a busy intersection under a highway lmao.
I'm the type that can't really frequent cafes, and get nervous ordering especially at Starbucks. How should I say my order, I want to try the matcha drink in this vid. also, the sizes are so confusing.
Why is it so peaceful and calm? My store is never like this 😭
Bc it was probly filmed before they're open. You're not allowed to film during your shift.
@@account10558 then who is she making all those drinks for lol
@@lilyliciousss most likely deliveries or the drive thru!
@@jessd4467 no she’s not making them for anyone, you can see they’re not open yet & there’s no one in the drive thru

You can say the size you want (short, tall, grande, or venti) and proceed to ask for an iced matcha with brown sugar and salted caramel foam!
i love this video
How beautiful... i Love this
Ok but what’s the difference between the clear cups and the white cups? Like are they used for different types of coffee orders or something?
I think the white cups have a chemical on it to keep the drinks warm so it might be for hot drinks while clear is for iced drinks
this is so satisfying to watch. now i’m craving starbucks :P
I'll try your matcha omggg
