Phil Leotardo had supposedly spent some time in prison, though it is never mentioned directly. As to how long he spent there, well, that's anyone's guess.
I'd put a thin layer of gabagool in the middle, make sure its fried/browned in the pan just a bit. You don't want to bite into a grilled cheese and get cold gabagool.
@FoodLovesCompany Some Italians have middle-east blood in them from wayy back when. Especially the ones from the south of Italy. The ressemblance is there if you look closely.
Excellent. Just have to find those cheeses in Omaha. Like Henry Hill , I ended up in Omaha but I was born in NY. Henry was in WP, but I stayed here after Medical School at Creighton . Are those cheese lines when you pull the halves from the original recipe real? I read somewhere that YT chefs do some complicated variation off camera to simulate the appearance?
You’re a goodfella Tom! 😉 So the cheese I used for the pull is all original. So a little tip I learned was you slice the sandwich in half and then put it back together and press from the outside into the inside. Essentially you’re moving the cheese to the sliced area and then you pull. Another way is to slice in half and then add back to the pan. Add some cheese to the open sliced area and melt again and push together and then pull Hope that helps and makes sense ✌️😊
