I told people last week in the comments that SFV is all about going in and pushing buttons. Marn proved it at NCR. SFV is finally on par with "anime" fighting games in terms of the game play allowing you to just get in and push buttons. Reynaud a KOF player made top 16!! Granted Justin and Infiltration proves that you can play footsies and spacing in SFV as well. But at the end of the day all you got to do is get in and do damage. Mike got beasted by a spammy mashy Ryu player at the 23:00 minute mark in this video. Mike sounded like me when I played DOA5(after playing DOA since DOA1) and just whined about how people no longer fears the counter hold system.People just mashed buttons. Most fighting games these days except Tekken, SCV, and VF are so mash friendly. Even KOF 14 looks mash friendly.But KOF has always been a go in a get damage type of game. SFV is an SF game that can finally be played as a rush down heavy fighter with like half the roster. Most top players are still trying to play SFV like a typical SF game. Marn proved you don't have to.Even Mike proved it when he exposed Kbrad you just got to get in and push buttons. Yeah Marn got exposed when he got bodied by Justin at NCR. But that's because Justin knows Marn was just trying to get in and push buttons. Justin exploited it. I luv it when Mike gets angry though lol. He feeds off the hate! Floe is wrong its not that Marn is an idiot its just Marn realizes just like Sonicfox, Reynaud, and other non SF players realized,SFV rewards you for going in and forcing people to guess. Words truly cannot describe our appreciation. Update about Martin: He survived the most critical part and is in stable condition. The antibiotics, medicines, and ventilator machine were able to control most of his issues. The doctors are slowly decreasing his need for the ventilator machine and sedative dosage, so he can start breathing on his own and be fully conscious soon. Hopefully at this rate of improvement, he should be able to leave the ICU in a few days. More updates to come.
