The difference between Parker and Corn is that Corn has a bachelor. Parker working with Jesse is practically a dream job for Parker, he can be getting paid the same as Corn (which was a little more than his police officer job). I mean sure theres no benefits but better than Parker's minimum wage job
But this contract with Brian is all just a series and I'm assuming you're smart enough to know that especially if you've seen Jesse's most recent video
Before we go on its important to note there are multiple sides to every story. Obviously corn is going to swing it so it looks like he is the victim, which he may be. Corn was just a camera guy, its not a hard job. Like Jessie said anyone can do it, and Jessie seems to be a pretty good teacher because Parker is doing a real good job as well. also, we don't know how much money corn was making which is important to note. To be 100% honest, this is basically what Jessie told us all along. Corn didn't want to continue because he didn't feel he was being paid enough. Corn may be the victim here but I think that Corn held the situation in his hands the whole time. He says he lost the raise because he was doing less work during the farming series. Watch the videos, grant we don't know all the work that went into it, when Corn was filming the farming series he was just recording. The first 2 or 3 episodes he was working a little, but for the most part he was just driving Jessie. He also said the filming was shorter Same goes with the second survival series. He wasn't really doing much besides driving Jessie around and carrying the camera. Its not like he was doing any extra work to really validate the raise, and after the survival series he didn't film at all. Corn also got a channel privilege from Jessie. basically a free 150k subscribers day one, also Jessie set him up as a streamer as well to try to go farther. If he makes consistent videos and uploads and streams often, he could probably easily make another 15-30k a year. so while jessie may not have been paying him as much as he liked, he helped set up two major platforms for him to make money after the series if corn wanted to continue. I know it may seem like im just defending Jessie, but we don't know the whole story. I can tell you all that corn got a pretty good fucking deal as soon as Jessie was handing him shoutouts for his youtube and streams.
Sum of the story jessie is a horrible boss who makes corn work a hard schedule then corn got a raise then Jessie took away the raise corn then rambles more about Jessie being a bad boss
If this is real (which I think it is, as in not part of the series) then this is EXACTLY why you NEVER do business with friends or family, but especially friends. It never ends well and you will lose a friend by the end of it. Even with contracts this can happen. I am surprised he again hired another close friend (Parker) when he went through this with Corn. It shows me that Jesse has a control problem, he wants someone whom he trusts and is close to, but doesn't care to make sure that relationship doesn't sour in the end which is a shame. He should have hired a random neutral cameraman after this happened with Corn.
And for our next story we have one here from Corn, you guys know who Corn is around 300,000 subscribers a VERY VERY BIG channel, and he uploaded a video showing us all who the real Jesse Ridgeway.
It sounds to me he wanted more money but he always never would ask for it cause he doesn’t want it to be awkward. Besides bro obviously your opinions have changed by now but literally 300K subs on RUclips isn’t going to make you as much as a regular job if you have 0 ZERO .. CREATIVITY

Well a prison officer makes around 38k a year, Jesse was likely paying him like 40 to 45. I'm guess the raise put him somewhere above that. Point is we don't really know as salaries will vary depending on the cost of living and taxes in the state you're working in.

This is nearly a 6 year old video but I have nothing better to do so I feel like analyzing this a bit. Without even watching Jesse’s response it’s obvious Corn’s passion was not filming and therefore he believed he should be compensated for doing something that’s not his passion, which isn’t how working well um… works. I did watch Jesse’s response though in order to connect the dots and it seems a lot of it has to do with how Corn was taken aback at how much Jesse separated friendship and business. This in turn warped Corn’s view of Jesse so I believe everything Corn says in this video is from a warped perspective. I can see how Corn would think moving the laundry is taking advantage of the contract, but I believe we’re missing context and he’s going based off of emotions. I can see Jesse saying something like “Can you do this one favor for me once because I can’t move it myself”. No malicious intentions, just an innocent question and Corn agreed. Jesse probably didn’t even look at it as taking advantage. It wasn’t like Corn did his laundry often. We just know about that one time. And honestly I don’t understand how you can complain about being paid for doing a simple task like laundry. Being paid to be a “bitch” is better than being an unpaid slave but I don’t think he was his “bitch” at all to begin with. If being paid to do a job or a task is being a “bitch” then we’re all bitches for our employers. This is Corn exaggerating because he was upset at Jesse separating friendship and business. It is unfortunate that Jesse wasn’t present as a friend, but also it is just how it has to be, and it’s exactly why mixing friendships and business is not a good idea for some people like Corn. He didn’t know how to deal with that which isn’t his fault but he should’ve caught on eventually that he did need to look at Jesse more as an employer and he did need to take the contract more seriously. Of course filming wasn’t a stable job and he knew that and signed up for it. You can’t complain when that’s what you signed up for. I can guarantee the contract specifies that Corn should be available at all times. It’s what the job entails and once again it’s what he signed up for so him getting “pissed” that Jesse wanted him to drive him and Juliette to the airport was just unnecessary. People can argue about whether or not Jesse should’ve included these “miscellaneous tasks” in the contract, but it’s the fact that Corn agreed to it regardless. Let’s talk about the money though. Making 3k a month to hold a camera for 6 hours each day when you live with your parents is an AMAZING deal. Why he ever needed more money at THIS time in his life is beyond me but at least he admits himself that he was greedy. I can take a guess and say that he believed he should be paid more for something he’s not passionate in, which is just not realistic. Corn acts like he was putting his life on hold which in a way, he technically was, but it was only for a year and it didn’t jeopardize his ability to get another job in the future. He was still in his early 20s at this point and could afford to waste some time. He almost wants to be mad at Jesse for putting his life on hold when once again, that is what he signed up for. In the end, it just has everything to do with him being unhappy as a cameraman and Jesse treating more like an employee than a friend. Corn didn’t like those things and he wanted out unless he was given more money. He should actually be glad Jesse got this channel going. He’s really wasting this channel’s potential. This channel was an added benefit to his job as a cameraman, which is for life, and that’s a great deal.
@@skylargray5642 Lol. You bring up a lot of great points. But I don’t blame Corn for being pissed that Jesse was having him do things like doing his laundry or driving him to the airport. Sure, it probably was mentioned in the contract. But what sane person literally wants their friend to do their laundry or drive them to the airport. Jesse is a grown ass man who could’ve easily done those things himself
@@superjackster0165 How many times did both of those things happen? Probably once each. I don’t know if you know how airports work but you can’t just drive yourself. You need to be dropped off. Corn was just annoyed because he wanted that day off but like that’s not how it works, and is it really a big deal to drive your friend? How much of the day does that really take up? When someone asks me to drive them to the airport, I do it because it’s the nice thing to do and they need a ride. Regarding the laundry, Jesse had his abdomen/spleen issue at the time and asked him to do a favor. Job or not, he’s his friend and once again shouldn’t be a big deal.
@@skylargray5642 In this video, Corn literally said that Jesse didn’t ask him to drive him there until the morning of that day. Like Jesse couldn’t have given Corn a heads up about that earlier? What if Corn had already made plans that day or something? Also, I know Jesse had that spleen injury. But there’s no way it could’ve been so serious to the point that he couldn’t have done something as simple as lifting up a box or carrying a laundry basket
1. You agreed to the contract 2. You're basically saying you overreacted to everything Jesse said like a kid 3. You kept asking for a raise even though you're a friend?!? 4. You just called you're friend a dick and disrespected him for giving you bonuses, nice wage and being a great friend?!? I think less of you bro ill tell you now
Just cause he is is friend does not mean he would go easy on Jesse. I would want raise to cause 36k is not that much for someone with a degree. Plus Jesse was kind of being a dick
I'm not saying this is fake I personally think it's real but imagine if he made this up...it would be real easy to make up a story like this you don't need to jump to conclusions
I work 40 hours a week and ~700 a month. I wake up a 4am to go to work, then I go to class until 530pm, then I go to home to cook dinner for me and my girlfriend and I felt privileged to do any of it. To hear that you quit a job that gave you 3000 a month to work 5-6 hours a day that starts at 1pm everyday pisses me off. You got a 500 dollar raise after 6 months, and you know what i got after a year? 25 cents/hour. Be thankful for what you have and the opportunities that were given to you. You weren't working in a place where you can be beaten to death like at your old job. You were operating a camera with your best friend. Be thankful and grateful for the things you have.
VampireSlayer there's no fucking way you work 40 hours for 700 a month, i worked a part time internship and got more money than you, it's literally impossible unless you're working off the books
VampireSlayer there's no fucking way you work 40 hours for 700 a month, i worked a part time internship and got more money than you, it's literally impossible unless you're working off the books
I honestly understand this, like the airport thing might have seem minor but like, when someone is starting to annoy you, especially after like one big eye opening event, every little thing just bugs you. I got this a lot with several band mates in the past.
well you see corn says that jesse didnt tell him they were going out of state in one video until the last second.. then he said it again when they were going to the airport.. corn was very sad and wanted dat cash wad money stacks raise but it was too much ;3
"don't ever do anything just for the money because, if you do it just for the money you'll never be happy. do what you love because, if you do what you love you'll wake up every morning doing that it won't matter because, you'll be happy." ~ Logic great quote to live by.
Bro, you were working for him. You signed contracts. Just so you know, Jesse is not in the wrong. If he doesn't want to pay you more than that is your job. Don't go complaining online.
***** LOL. Do you even watch his videos anymore? There's a new camera guy. He doesn't need Corn. He doesn't wanna pay one of his workers more, then he doesn't. Worker quits? There is always someone else who is skilled as corn to film.
Honestly, Jesse is kinda right. All you do is hold a camera. Yeah, all the other things you did like drive him around was kinda unreasonable, but that's the contract you signed. You should have negotiated it a little to your liking. You're like 24. How much money did you expect to make at that age?
Corn I support you as a fan and friend your awesome so glad your taking a stand and quiet your right a long term job what's best for you and looking out for your future... I really enjoy the videos They encourage me
@@Nadify He's saying that the fact that corn was getting paid means it's not something he's doing as a friend but as an employee for a job. What that means is that if you're doing something as a job, you can't expect it to be like doing a favour as a friend... which is what Corn was doing alot of the time. He sees Jesse as a friend and not a boss, which is fine when off the job but not when on the job.

Did your comment really need to be that long? Lol
@@superjackster0165 Lmao I’m just very analytical…
Corn is better then parker tbh

I agree, I'm not liking Parker to be honest

1. You agreed to the contract
2. You're basically saying you overreacted to everything Jesse said like a kid
You should be thankful he's even paying you never mind a raise
Well that was jesses offer
the fuck are you trying to say? its his full time job, he needs money to live.... it would be slavery if he wasnt being paid
It was meant to be fun, one friend helping out the other, no one asked him to do it full time

Yeah me too, All he does is disrespect people that are his friends. Use them and abuse them. Parker will be the same way mark my words

It's a series. Corrin was written into the new series

Be thankful and grateful for the things you have.
.
VampireSlayer there's no fucking way you work 40 hours for 700 a month, i worked a part time internship and got more money than you, it's literally impossible unless you're working off the books

Sal9141 Then enlighten me.
***** LOL. Do you even watch his videos anymore? There's a new camera guy. He doesn't need Corn. He doesn't wanna pay one of his workers more, then he doesn't. Worker quits? There is always someone else who is skilled as corn to film.

I feel like you were one of the juggies who thought that the psycho series was real
You're not even old enough to have a job. So I doubt you even know what a raise is.
You're very mature, Corn. Good job. You did the right thing.
Honestly, Jesse is kinda right. All you do is hold a camera. Yeah, all the other things you did like drive him around was kinda unreasonable, but that's the contract you signed. You should have negotiated it a little to your liking. You're like 24. How much money did you expect to make at that age?
But people would quit instantly if he starts paying them less. It's hard to find people that will continue to work for him

And if you were doing this as a friend you would not have been getting payed.
I know this was 2 years ago, but ur kinda stupid if you think someone can hold a camera 'full-time' and get no money lmao he would be homeless
Thank you Corn very much we all appreciate it!
