Man they really know how to make the song sound full and complete even though its an acoustic session. Top performers and musicians. Vocal harmonies on point.
SSX3 was the gateway to Thrice for many thousands of people. We all started with "Stare at the Sun" and went on from there. Some came from MTX Mototrax, that one had "The Artist in the Ambulance".
lol I can't believe some people call them emo - look at the analogies to society and real things going on. One of the ones that really blew me away was Paper Tigers, that song was well written :o
@or19937 They've always harmonized in alot of their stuff. They trade off alot too. On records, him and Dustin just sound really alike. Riley even gets a part here and there.
@or19937 You'd actually be very surprised how many harmonies he's in... He usually out-does Dustin. Find the "Come All You Weary" with just Dustin and Tep on two acoustics, it's a good example.
Amazing, these guys are so talented and they have a HUGE potential, they are the ones who should get the big sales, not those freakin posers such as rihanna and other stupid fake and idiotic "artists".These are the real artists.
it's nice hearing the song torn down to it's elements. the harmonies don;t get to shine on the album version since Andy Wallace his them to far back under the guitars, but they really are nice parts. I'm looking forward to the new Thrice record "Beggars" and to the Acoustic Best-of tehy're planning for 2010 it should be cool hearing the other singles broken down like this one.
dustin kensrue and jesse lacey write the greatest lyrics of all time, but their lyrics are so different from each other. Dustins are amazingly powerful, and Jesse's are just really meaningful and relative.
i wish i could go back in time and see Thrice just after this album came out so they'd play their best stuff...oh well. awesome song. stare at the sun is a better song done acoustic tho
lol yeah it does look funny in my opinion it looks so better when singers play guitars, or any other instruments as well as singing, cos in like guitar solos theyre just stood there doing nothing. but in one song by some band the singer started playing air guitar during a guitar solo.. he looked soo stupid.
lol yeah i feel stupid cos it took me more than a month to reply to yours but it took you like less than a day to reply to mine.. hey i replied to this guys 5-month old comment.. waddya think he'll make of that eh?
@lordburzum says the guy with the name lordburzum.. hah. stop bein so close minded dude and pay attention to the lyrics, they actually have somethin to say, if u can comprehend them.
Man they really know how to make the song sound full and complete even though its an acoustic session. Top performers and musicians. Vocal harmonies on point.
This song is just as good acoustic as it is heavy. I just can't stop listening to Thrice for the last year...
These guys are just incredible, outstanding live performances are where true artists shine
i live with an angry parrot named buddy. the last half of this song got him dancing, head bobbing. i can't believe this is the kind of music he likes
So damned awesome live. If you haven't heard these guys live, do it as soon as possible! They are by far one of the best in live performances. AHH!
this is a hidden gem.
Love this song!
i like teppei's voice
teppei is such a beast
The versatility of Thrice is incredibly breathtaking and toes the line between that which is believable and that which is not.
another reason thrice is my favorite band
I love how they can take any of their songs and transform them into an acoustic version.
Somebody please take me back to the early 2000 era!
If not for Thrice most recent album I wouldn't have discovered their older music which I like the best.
SSX3 was the gateway to Thrice for many thousands of people. We all started with "Stare at the Sun" and went on from there. Some came from MTX Mototrax, that one had "The Artist in the Ambulance".
what a gem
Oh man...Thrice on Fuse...wow the memories...
HOW CAN SOME PPL DISLIKE THIS :/ AMAZING LIVE PEFORMANCE
ahhh ... just beautiful .
doesn't matter if any1 else hates it .
@PunkInDrublic77 Teppei's voice goes perfectly with the raspiness of Dustin's :)
Brings me back to when i first saw them do acoustic at warped tour a while back. Awesome performance.
this song is the best acoustic form of a song hands down
Good old days when music was good
Great. Just great. Sounds clean and powerful, even when it's stripped down to acoustic.
It's the most amazing acoustic performance i ever saw!
lol I can't believe some people call them emo - look at the analogies to society and real things going on. One of the ones that really blew me away was Paper Tigers, that song was well written :o
Love this song!!!
Man this album is the BEST!
damn teps has a voice!!
@anarchos1 I got to see them live in Salt Lake City a few months back and am going to see them again in Vegas in May. Such an epic live band!
Thrics is AMAZING! love this song!
@or19937 They've always harmonized in alot of their stuff. They trade off alot too. On records, him and Dustin just sound really alike. Riley even gets a part here and there.
2024!
@or19937 You'd actually be very surprised how many harmonies he's in... He usually out-does Dustin. Find the "Come All You Weary" with just Dustin and Tep on two acoustics, it's a good example.
Glad this exists
Great performance, simply put, this is (In my opinion at the very least) the perfect acoustic performance of "All That's Left"
It was awesome!!!
BEST. EVER.
You all are the dead, a ghost of everything yall thought but never said.
they're suich a good band. they really play as one.. It's all about the sound they make as a whole..
agree
teppei rules..
perfect
his voice definitely changed and to be honest i dont know if i like the younger or older voice better, both are amazing
I know, it's much more mature, but both are amazing!
A-MA-ZING performance by Thrice, Teppei should be the lead voice of Thrice in some songs
@PunkInDrublic77 Same! I'd love to hear him be more involved vocally, he has a really good voice!
T-E-P-P-E-I !
Amazing, these guys are so talented and they have a HUGE potential, they are the ones who should get the big sales, not those freakin posers such as rihanna and other stupid fake and idiotic "artists".These are the real artists.
They are so tight.
I find the amazing synchronization of Dustin and Teppei's hands at 1:07 really weird.
it's nice hearing the song torn down to it's elements. the harmonies don;t get to shine on the album version since Andy Wallace his them to far back under the guitars, but they really are nice parts.

it should be cool hearing the other singles broken down like this one.
This is soo pretty
Holy piss! Teppei can sing!
Thrice, A Day to Remember and Silverstein on tour....i could see it!
i know, they're amazing
dustin kensrue and jesse lacey write the greatest lyrics of all time, but their lyrics are so different from each other. Dustins are amazingly powerful, and Jesse's are just really meaningful and relative.
Why had I never faved this before?
Dude....I totally fucking agree.
Underrated version of this song
LMAO what?! ive never really imagined having a pet-elf teppei tbh, but i spose it would be kinda cute.
does anyone know where i can find the tab for teppei's lead during the chorus?
ha, yeah me to
Release a acoustic album!!
FUCK YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yep. i have a version of "trust" where just teppei sings... but its such a bad quality. it sounds as if he would be under water
i wish i could go back in time and see Thrice just after this album came out so they'd play their best stuff...oh well. awesome song. stare at the sun is a better song done acoustic tho
They have any songs with killer guitar solos? I feel like their lead guy could totally do it
Check out their first few albums, you won't be disappointed
Ed's just like "Sup, guys? I'm just gonna stand here."
Geoff Nichols he was singing back up vox.
WOW 35 seconds ago, its getting quicker :)
I just noticed Ed standing in the back with a mic! when does he sing
not anymore theyre having a farewell tour :(
this is totally in drop C! so like drop D but a whole step lower
Alsome
I wonder how Thrice would of turned out with Teppei as lead vocals
does any one know what tuning this is in...i think it sounds like a possible drop D but im not too sure...
Lol, this version is exactly the same as the electric - they didn't change anything
i have the same guitar!! taylors kill
it would be so cool if Ed replaced Dustin as the lead singer and made Dustin lay the bass
Definitely not ! Dustin’s one of the best singers of this generation
lol yeah it does look funny
in my opinion it looks so better when singers play guitars, or any other instruments as well as singing, cos in like guitar solos theyre just stood there doing nothing. but in one song by some band the singer started playing air guitar during a guitar solo.. he looked soo stupid.
what album lol
tabs?
look at when that comment was posted
so we meet again... 240p -.-
lol yeah i feel stupid cos it took me more than a month to reply to yours but it took you like less than a day to reply to mine..
hey i replied to this guys 5-month old comment.. waddya think he'll make of that eh?
awesome......on a stick. I feel bad for the bass player though, hah.
@lordburzum says the guy with the name lordburzum.. hah. stop bein so close minded dude and pay attention to the lyrics, they actually have somethin to say, if u can comprehend them.
Blaspheme. Everything they write is godly
Probably their worst song ever - still not that bad though
