In 1977 my mother was rushed to the hospital in Philadelphia. The doctors found a blood mass in the center of the brain the size of a golf ball. The doctor's told my family that this large blood mass was very rare. If they operated she would die or be parallelized for the duration of her life. My parents were raised Catholic and knew about the medical miracles of St John Neumann. A St. John Neumann medal was placed on her and a novena prayer read everyday. The doctors told my father the blood mass would bleed if they didn't do emergency surgery, my father filled with faith said no. My mother came home from the hospital and continued with her life raising six children. She stopped taking all the medicine the doctors prescribed because the meds were making her feel sick and weak. The doctors gave her no more then seven years to live back in 1977. My mother worked to the age of 74. On April 1st of this year 2022 my mother will be 84 years old. The golf ball size blood mass is still in her brain but never caused her untimely death that the doctors said would occur in 1977. My mother is a medical miracle with the inter-session of St. John Neumann.
Very sorry to hear but I can tell you right now it wasn't any saint that kept her alive none of them have any power only Christ the king only by his word & love can she be healed & saved... The first time I went to Rome on pilgrimage was for the canonization of St. Maximillian Kolbe on Oct. 10th 1982. I had prayed for his canonization for years so it was a great joy.
One thing I know that GOD got to choose first the person who he choose to become saint even before church make them saint . Hello. All I did is quote Scripture - I didn't say a word. Yet you say "do not judge" - it shows you know in your heart the Word of God condemns what catholicism teaches. Please listen to your conscience and re-read the gospels yet again and forget what any church, denomination or person claims they say. Christianity is about a person: God/Jesus Christ, not about a religious system of rules, earning or maintaining salvation. It's about God adopting people into His family by grace. If a kid gets adopted as a 3 year old, he didn't "earn" it, and he didn't work to "maintain" it. And so it is what God offers. Great bible verses, especially if they are being understood within the context of when, who and what purpose they were presented to us through the inspiration of the holy spirit since the church chose not to include other books. However, i was disappointed (not surprised) that you mentioned Ephesians 2.8-10 and not James 2 14-26 or is that too contradicting? after all, God never contradicts himself, right? or do you take certain things literary and not others as you interpret or others help you interpret? if we put the catholic church (or your beliefs of what catholic church is) aside and the countless mistakes it made under human authorities and sinners over the centuries that lead to countless divisions and clearly can't be trusted... The best thing we can do as believers in Christ is too look at the earliest believers and see if their ways of life and we come to truly see the church the Christ founded and lead from there instead of letting others tell us what to believe. I find great comfort in asking the Holy spirit for his gifts as I come to the truth (Christ). All Christians have a common enemy and that's not of blood or flesh Ephesians 6:12. So how I take the verse is: we are CALLED to be saints in Heaven with God. He isn't calling us saints, but calling us to BE saints by acheiving eternal life in Heaven.
I don`t want to be declared a Saint by the Church. I just want to be a Saint. If being a Saint means being declared one by my ( Catholic ) Church then I`d be willing to put up with it. I rarely ask God for anything else than to be a Saint. I wish we were all Saints. How much would your house and car insurance cost, if we were all Saints ? We`d have no need of taxes being collected in order to pay for a Police Force... We`d be able to go on holiday and leave our house keys on our doorstep....... and so on and so forth.

Lmao you completely misunderstand everything about the Catholic Church and how they interact with saints. Try opening a book. Try studying the writings of the early Church leaders, try asking a Catholic, literally any real Catholic if they "worship" saints. We do not worship saints. Plain and simple. We talk to them like anyone visiting the grace of a loved one would pray and talk to them, trusting that somehow they hear it and somehow they have their back and talk to God on their behalf. Chris - Sol Mon Not at all. You don't even have to have lived a particularly holy life (though it greatly increases your chances!) Take St. Dismus for example, one of the first saints. He is the one often known as "the good thief," who was crucified next to Jesus. Up until that point he wasn't a particularly good person (he was a thief afterall, and by some accounts a murderer too), but for his final act of penitance to Jesus, he was given the graces to get to Heaven. I have heard in the Book of Roman Martyrs, there are accounts of Roman soldiers who seeing the bravery and witness of the Martyrs, decided on the spot that they too were followers of Christ and shared in their martyrdom of those they came to kill right on the spot; they were sanctified through a baptism of desire and baptism of blood. So in short: no. As the late Mother Angelica used to say, "We are all called to be Saints."

Catholics confess their sins to priests because - as it is clearly stated in Sacred Scripture - God in the Person of Jesus Christ authorized the priests of His Church to hear confessions and empowered them to forgive sins in His Name. To the Apostles, the first priests of His Church, Christ said: "Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent me, I also send you... Receive ye the Holy Ghost. That literally says nothing at all that can be accurately used against the Catholic Church recognizing the deceased as a saint. Because every person they recognize as a saint, believes in, and many cases died for their great faith in Jesus Christ.

In 1977 my mother was rushed to the hospital in Philadelphia. The doctors found a blood mass in the center of the brain the size of a golf ball. The doctor's told my family that this large blood mass was very rare. If they operated she would die or be parallelized for the duration of her life. My parents were raised Catholic and knew about the medical miracles of St John Neumann. A St. John Neumann medal was placed on her and a novena prayer read everyday. The doctors told my father the blood mass would bleed if they didn't do emergency surgery, my father filled with faith said no. My mother came home from the hospital and continued with her life raising six children. She stopped taking all the medicine the doctors prescribed because the meds were making her feel sick and weak. The doctors gave her no more then seven years to live back in 1977. My mother worked to the age of 74. On April 1st of this year 2022 my mother will be 84 years old. The golf ball size blood mass is still in her brain but never caused her untimely death that the doctors said would occur in 1977. My mother is a medical miracle with the inter-session of St. John Neumann.

Hello. All I did is quote Scripture - I didn't say a word. Yet you say "do not judge" - it shows you know in your heart the Word of God condemns what catholicism teaches. Please listen to your conscience and re-read the gospels yet again and forget what any church, denomination or person claims they say. Christianity is about a person: God/Jesus Christ, not about a religious system of rules, earning or maintaining salvation. It's about God adopting people into His family by grace.
If a kid gets adopted as a 3 year old, he didn't "earn" it, and he didn't work to "maintain" it. And so it is what God offers.
Do we want God, or do we want our denomination, thinking we can fall back on it and be without excuse before God?

Great bible verses, especially if they are being understood within the context of when, who and what purpose they were presented to us through the inspiration of the holy spirit since the church chose not to include other books. However, i was disappointed (not surprised) that you mentioned Ephesians 2.8-10 and not James 2 14-26 or is that too contradicting? after all, God never contradicts himself, right? or do you take certain things literary and not others as you interpret or others help you interpret? if we put the catholic church (or your beliefs of what catholic church is) aside and the countless mistakes it made under human authorities and sinners over the centuries that lead to countless divisions and clearly can't be trusted... The best thing we can do as believers in Christ is too look at the earliest believers and see if their ways of life and we come to truly see the church the Christ founded and lead from there instead of letting others tell us what to believe. I find great comfort in asking the Holy spirit for his gifts as I come to the truth (Christ). All Christians have a common enemy and that's not of blood or flesh Ephesians 6:12. Try studying the writings of the early Church leaders, try asking a Catholic, literally any real Catholic if they "worship" saints. We do not worship saints. Plain and simple. Take St. Dismus for example, one of the first saints. He is the one often known as "the good thief," who was crucified next to Jesus. Up until that point he wasn't a particularly good person (he was a thief afterall, and by some accounts a murderer too), but for his final act of penitance to Jesus, he was given the graces to get to Heaven.
I have heard in the Book of Roman Martyrs, there are accounts of Roman soldiers who seeing the bravery and witness of the Martyrs, decided on the spot that they too were followers of Christ and shared in their martyrdom of those they came to kill right on the spot; they were sanctified through a baptism of desire and baptism of blood.
So in short: no. As the late Mother Angelica used to say, "We are all called to be Saints."

The devil likes to lie, you are right. You use the bible against us? The devil likes to use rubies to make you think that he is good, but in reailty he leads you astray from the true goodness: God.

Where is the proof that we are the sons of the devil? We don't worship the saints if that's what you're saying. We pray to the saints, which is not just praying to God or worshipping Him. In Shakespeare's time, when someone said, "I pray thee, help me," they were requesting something from someone. Catholics believe that there are different forms of prayer. (1) Prayer of Adoration/Blessing, (2) Prayer of Contrition/Repentance, (3) Prayer of Thanksgiving/Gratitude, and (4) Prayer of Supplication/Petition/Intercession. So we aren't practicing idolatry, sinning when praying to the saints, or doing what the devil wants. The saints actually help people come closer to God. If you read the stories of the saints, you wil see that they converted so many people to Christianity. Start with Saint Christopher or Saints Perpetua and Felicity. They are people we look up to and ask for help from.

You could also ask the living saints, like your pastor, your church leaders and so on. But it is more effective if we ask our living saints in heaven. Yes they might be dead in the body, but they were alive in spirit. No one can separate us from Christ. Even death. Your rightious actions during your lifetime would not be put in vain. It will not end in grave, it will continue as a proof that God is merciful.

The only Saints are the ones certified by Jesus Christ and God the Father in heaven. The Lord is about to come back soon for His church. The rapture is about to happen. Once upon a time, the Roman Catholics were used to publicly ostend their mortal bodies in order to show the sons of God are preserved from the natural decomposition.
The old Code of Canon Law established a mandatory CANONICAL RECOGNITION of the body after 30 years from the death. To have an incorrupted body was believed to be the first and main proof of a death in state of sanctity.
That can be believed a divine proof that anyone can personally vetify, being converted. Moreover, anyone can pray an incorrupted saint and personally vetify the truthfulness of his intercession. That point Is much more compliant with the Will of God that anyone who believes His beloved Sin Is God and the Word of God would be saved.
Why can we suppose Roman Catholics will continue to venerate the saints WITHOUT SEEING NOTHING?? The Church has reached the lowest level of moral credibility in all its history and we pretend to ask to lay people to believe in what is secretly decided by the diocesano or the CANONICAL tribunal.
