What an awesome locomotive! Thank you for sharing the unboxing, removing the shell so we could see under the hood and cycling through the different sounds. Really great overview!
The track is Micro Engineering code 40 on ties from fast tracks. I painted the track with Tamiya German grey before randomly applying black, dark and light grey as well as earthy brown and ochre to the ties individually. The ballast is real diabase n scale ballast. The rock dust in the ballast tones down the colors and blends everything together. I laid out my track building in this video:ruclips.net/video/FkRfzzxCH38/видео.html I also touched on track painting and weathering in this video: ruclips.net/video/w12dFNDXOp4/видео.html
great job on your track work- very realistic!
I have never been disappointed with an Atlas product. they are really good engines and good freight cars.
then you prolly don't remember atlas/lima or atlas/roco locomotives- they taught some modelers how to swear.

It really is a nice model. I was excited when I saw Atlas announce a run with BN road numbers. Saves a lot of time not having to retrofit sound 🙃
Opened my eyes about quality...didn't ever see Atlas before
seriously? the atlas/kato offerings were legendary- many N scalers and motor men still prefer them.
Excellent review. Thank you.
I'm loving the track! The ties are so realistic! What code and track did you use? I "dyed" my ties with white/cream/grey paint but yours is amazing.
