    Been in love with the Portland area since I met my wife 2 years ago. We moved back and realized, crap my glasses are torn to shreds, time for some new lenses. Looked around my local Vision World,in Bearverton and saw a pair of the Fremont lenses sitting in a wooden display case. I looked at every single frame amazed at the quality of the wood used in them. I didnt bother looking around at the rest of their stock, and here we are 2 weeks later with a pair of Fremonts, looking up how the hell these beautiful frames were made. Thanks for the little slice of Portland. Keep up the good work!

      Are u paid by shoods ?

    • @Quantumanticz
      @Quantumanticz 4 года назад

      @@abhinavmohan5838 nope. Honestly I ended up going through 3 pairs. Twice my 2 year old snapped them in half grabbing them off my face, the other they snapped laying on the couch with them on. 3 years later I wouldn't recommend.

    I actually think they are nicely priced - around $200 a pair. Compared to mass produced Ray-Bans, Persols, and Pradas etc., these are much more exclusive and are of higher quality.

      Still too expensive for sunglasses

    • @alexw647
      @alexw647 9 лет назад +1

      Shrimppete Yes, I completely agree when you say it is expensive. But from my perspective - for a handmade pair of sunglasses made from rare wood and Carl Zeiss lenses, they are miles above the competition in terms of build quality and pricing. It may be a novelty item, but what you are getting is something unique and made to last for as long as you use it. I've had a pair for over 2 years and they are still kicking!

    Well those pieces are kind of handcrafted and I suppose the quality of the materials they use is good, so it costs what you're paying. Not that they want to get rich from just a sale.

    @Folkster84 They're pricy because of the effort they put into it. I'll happily pay for one of these pairs rather than an over-priced mess like Ray Ban.

    Let's hope the White House legal staff (Eric Holder, who should be more concerned about the FBI & DEA giving guns to the Mexican drug cartels) doesn't give these young guys the same hard time they gave Gibson guitar.
    Always good to see creative young Americans who know how to use hand tools. Seems to be a skill lost to texting & video games. Good jobs guys. Best of luck to you.
