Appreciate you on uploading our bonus match! High key was nervous with how new to the deck I still am. Tons of fun though, and the comments and your commentary def help out too. Hope to get paired up with you again homie, good luck at the upcoming Regional!
@blacklotus1418 yeah brother, appreciate the match! We're always trying to learn and get better. I get the nerves for sure! But no worries. Comments will call out illegal plays but no one is shit talking here
After playing the list for a while, I think the deck really sucks when hit by ht, since (unlike other decks) this doesn't have much 1cc. I often see 2-3 pieces of engine + 2-3 pieces of non-engine, and I often hope to see more engine. I realized I'm only scared of Churmies, cuz other than that nothing can stop the gas of this deck... so I reviewed it a lot and made another version as a (almost) full-engine build, where the only 8 ards of non-engine are 3 ash, 3 purulia, 1 fuwa, and 1 called; the engine part is: +1 Megalo +2 Eria +1 Triaina +3 Moray of greed (ik it doesn't sound good, but it's like a mulligan in yugioh and it doesn't have cost) I open mostly a 4 engine pieces + 1 non-engine piece hand, which surely either is a churmy or can stop a churmy, so I very like this atm and I'll stick with that. I think I could probably build a full going 2nd build, but idk. I'm opening so bad with your actual version, that I'm revisiting every possible option to play it but open well😅
@Redrockyt_ I think 9 - 12 non engine is probbs the sweet based on ur deck size being from 40 - 45. I think 3 purulia, 3 ash, 3 imperm, and 1 called by is all thts needed. I'm playing a very silly list tomorrow tht I just had to try out before the regional. It's based on theory for building decks in pokemon pocket lol!
What was your game plan to force out the SG if he just never uses it, without sending Heavy Infantry to threaten Barrier? None of your stuff can run over Saruvais (2800 def) without going into ED IIRC, and it doesn't feel like you were ever attempting to send Heavy Infantry to force him to negate or basically lose the negate. The Water lock also prevents you from just popping his backrow via S:P or Phoenix. Like if he just save SG for Heavy Infantry, Sauravis for Poseidra, or the trap to pop anything that can threaten Saruvais (for example, you make Dweller to boost Coelcanth, or just pop Coelcanth on summon, or pop Bahamut Shark plus another body if you're threatening Toad), i don't think you can break his board? edit: just thought about it more SG negate either goes on anything that tries to pop Barrier, or on Abyssrhine Saruvais mostly on Poseidra to prevent it from floating Barrier on either Coelcanth or Bahamut Shark, depending on order of sequencing.
In this case playing Kragen would be very good because it makes them all waters therefore you can then target them. Just summoning him would require Sauravis summon negate to stop the rest of the shenanigans because then he would be forced to negate infantry and have nothing for poseidra bounce 3 or vice versa because whatever they do you just chain kragen to pop skull guardian.
@WenLifeGivULemons i think my game plan ,without looking back at the game, was to attempt a rank 4 play until I took care of the 3 known interruptions. I can have this available through megalo/ gunde, squad/shrine, and deepseaking. Eventually I either obtain a toad or he uses all his interruptions and from there it's 2 lvl7' s link climb etc..
@RobinsAssistant i wouldn't have stopped cus i know he had another playable card in his hand and he didn't look at his top deck. I would liked to examine my opponent is doing looking for potential check points and seeing wht my final resource is available. Oh also ur opponent can just mess up. I mess up all the time and u never know

Game 3 he can’t add the second Lo cuz the ritual wasn’t ritual summoned, was special summoned
@@Heiss0111 nice catch!
You are correct in your evaluation in game two. Let him play and on the attempt to ritual you chain the second mulch. Pot of greed 🙂↔️
Super ancient has to summon as many as possible. And sauravis negates before the card hits the field like solemn
@@GaryOaksEgo nice

SG negate either goes on anything that tries to pop Barrier, or on Abyssrhine
Saruvais mostly on Poseidra to prevent it from floating
Barrier on either Coelcanth or Bahamut Shark, depending on order of sequencing.
