Step-by-step Landscape Scene in Watercolor (My exact process)

Today I am going to walk you through my process for painting this landscape in watercolor.
I am painting on Saunders Waterford Cold Press 140lb paper. I have my surface tilted to 35 degrees. I use a variety of brands of brushes. I mainly stick to a large mop, medium round and smaller synthetic brush with a point.
Here are the list of pigments on my palette:
Burnt Sienna
Cadmium Red
Cadmium Yellow Medium
Cerulean Blue
Cobalt Blue
Cobalt Teal Blue
Cobalt Turquoise
Lavender
Neutral Tint
Payne's Gray
Quinacridone Gold
Raw Sienna
Raw Sienna Light
Raw Umber
Rose Madder Permanent
Ultramarine Blue

@@learntopaintwatercolor I meant to add, thank you, I never thought of using my lavender for mixing with Raw & or Burnt sienna. I have had a tube for sometime not using it that often, but now find it excellent for mixing with other colours.

Hi, Matt
I think your teaching method is the most effective for me. It is a program optimized for drawing because it is detailed and systematic.
As I said before, I want to take your class, but I'm holding off because the video provided doesn't have simultaneous translation.
However, it would be great if the content of the video could be viewed via email like in this class.
Now I am listening to your classes on RUclips and this way, but this alone is very helpful and I am grateful. I would like to sign up for membership in your class, but am hesitant due to translation issues. However, I think I will sign up again someday. I think you can study just by watching the video.

I'm not clear if you use freshly squeezed paint or that it dries and you rewet it. If fresh, how do you keep it soft? What do you do if you're away from your studio for a period of time? Do you prefer it fresh or dried and rewetted?

I just spray my paint really well with water about 10 minutes before I paint.

I love your loose style and clear demos. I also love the mottled or granulated effect you get in your washes, like the distant hill in this painting. Does it come from your pigments or from the paper you use?

i accidentally made the land too dark so i cant put any trees, or theyll just blend in. what should i do? thanks
